Okay several people in the chat room (SS-74 and WeWillHold to name a couple) have mentioned I should build a tank. So I did, Twisted Style. This is dedicated to them. Remember it's all their fault. #:-)

It's pretty, but man! WHY? WHY?
I hope you don't misunderstand me, but I found people doing pinkish tank to be offensive!!!! OFFENSIVE!!!!!!!!!! #:-) #:-) #:-) #:-)
In none of the seriousness, PRETTY!!!!!! Only word to describe it!!!!!!!!

Where are the curb-feelers? Or under-chassis neon lighting?
I'd bet you could get a mighty big amplifier in that car.

Brother "Slimer Dude"
Since you consistently refuse to ever post comments when I post pics on Rivet Review, I refuse to post comments on anything that you do.
I refuse to comment that this Bulldog is one of the cleverest ideas that I've seen in quite awhile. I also refuse to admit that I like this thing, and no longer think "OD is Sexy",-- Piggy Pink is!!!
If I was to post a comment on this tank, I would try not to compliment you on the deep clear paint job (with no runs), the spoiler which is really a neat touch, and the just plain outstanding concept of taking ribbing in the chat room and turning it into this very interesting conversation piece.
I would also refuse to comment that weathering is entirely missing on the vehicle---dustings of mauve, violet, candy apple red, and "puke" green would certainly need to be applied in the suspension areas of the vehicle. The lack of pe detail would also grossly upset "Da Cash Cropper Dude" aka Oberst.
Tim---seriously, this concept is just a whole lot of fun for all of us modelers to view here at Armorama. Your paint work is flawless, you obviously have a talent for conceptualizing unique ideas----this is just plain fun (which is what the hobby is all about!
Great work pal.
ps: If Orange County Choppers see this---they'll be calling!
Steve

Lol...this would be a great addition. A 1/35 scale figure of Barbie waving from the commander's cupola.

Thanks guys.
I had some other things in mind to do to it, "go faster stripes" was one of them, but a lack of planning had my enthusiasm dropping quickly near the end. Because of the fragile way the spoiler is attached adding the stripes would have been difficult once it was attached. It was a fun quick build that I did without a whole lot of thought behind it to clear my head of Modelers Block. I had a lot of fun building it, although some of that may have been imagining the reactions I would get. I may revisit this concept later with more planning and do something a little more spectacular with it. Maybe I'll try to get a "Wild Paint Jobs" campaign/group build going.

NOW I know why Dave was so angry in Chat, WOW Although Pink is his favorite colour...
I do not know if I should be insulted by this tank or not. At least it is a modern American tank rather than a German tank.
Creative work, thanks for sharing Tim,
Andrew

Just 2 constructive criticisms on this build.
First - Did you consult with your official military camo charts on this paint job? I don't think you have the correct shade of pink for this subject.
Second - When painted in military pink, this particular vehicle must have a chopped suspension.
I'm afraid the judges aren't going to give you a very good score on this effort. #:-)
Great work Tim :-)

Wow, You put me in trouble TwistedFate!!!! My 5 years old daughter was here when I opened your post and she said "Daddy look a barbie tank! Can you do one for me?". Quite hard to answer no and even tougher to say yes...
Any idea on where can I find Barbie waterslide decals in 1/35?
