Renault manufacturers plates can be found in most update sets for the B1 bis - better still is that they aren't appropriate for the B1 bis until after it has been reworked by the Germans so they can be snatched for your UEs

By the way, Adler's Nest makes castle nuts in various sizes. I haven't bought a set yet. Here is a URL to the product on Hobby Link Japan's site: http://www.hlj.com/product/ADNANE-0139 .

There is a quite excellent walk-around (and in!) of the UE in the Silicon Valley Modeler's Club Gallery. Navigate there via Walkarounds->Armor->Tanks - 1915 to 1945 . It's on the second page. Yeah, yeah, it's not a tank but that's where they put it (and the Lorraine Chenilette).

Another addtion to "Things UE" is Czech Masters Kits resin interior set for the Tamiya UE kit.. Here's a link to Squadron's listing for it. http://www.squadron.com/ItemDetails.asp?item=CZ3093

Excellent review Gary - I learned a few things about the UE that I didn't know before. Dangerous, knowledge is - I might go buy one now!

The kit comes with tweezers with good reason!

I managed to mess up the link and length tracks somehow. Others have had no problems with them.

Just for completeness, also see my review of Voyager's photo-etch set for this kit. Although I never bought one of these, Eduard also makes a PE set (#36056). From looking at the instruction sheet on Eduard's site http://www.eduard.cz/, it seems they spent much needed attention on the trailer and the insides of the tilt bin. This looks like a winner.
