What would you like to see released in 1/48 scale from Tamiya, HobbyBoss, etc..?

I would like US halftracks, a decent set of US tank crew, a Korean War vintage Centurion, and guns. Lots of guns. AT guns. Artillery. German 37, 50, 75 and 88's, British 6 pounder and 25 pounder, US 57(same as 6 pdr), 3" and 105, Russian 76.2, etc...

Maybe someone could re-issue the better Bandai kits.

In a sense (and controversially) , I hope not. I hope that someone does the RANGE of vehicles they did, personally, i'd like modern mouldings...

I want a Staghound in 1/48th. Prime movers (as well as artillery) a decent Flak 37, the M2/M3 Halftracks along with a Studebaker, some BenHur trailers and an Austin K2

As i'm only beginning my journey into this (great) scale, I must admit to what i've seen so far is bloody impressive. Still need more figures though...

Unfortunately it doesn't look like HobbyBoss is going to be doing any more 1/48 kits. I was kid of hoping they would complement the Tamiya line.

As for the wish list...

I would really like to see modern vehicles in general.. M1, challenger, M113... and Tamiya already has the 1/35 molds. They wouldn't have to do any new research or anything.

I would also love to see things like the Famo & trailer.. Dragon Wagon & trailer.. Sdkfz7 and the 88mm gun, and so on.

BUT, I know these are only dreams.

And a Chaffee.

And a Jackson.

And I'd like to see Tamiya make 8 - 10 figure tank crew sets in the little boxes that their 4 figure 1/35 stuff comes in. Ya know, 5 or 6 full figs and maybe 3 or 4 partials.

Hola,

If,maybe,Mr.Tamiya rescaled some subgets of 1/35 scale..,pantograph.

BMW & Zunzapp
Harley Davinson
Scout car
British 6 pounder and truck.
Matilda...,

and many little kits.

Thinking ,very important factor,(all over the world ) is THE PRICE!!.Why,Tamiya start to this little-nice kits with a reasonable prices?.Only retooling the moulds and new box?.
They started in 1/35 with little boxes,( non expensive ) long, long time a go.
For the good times.

So, is anyone else as unimpressed as I am at Tamiya's last two offerings?
Afrika Corps (at rest) with another Rommel?
US staff car from their Mustang kit?

I was hoping for something more than that. Ah, well.

Having just watched a few Vietnam War movies, I'm thinking I'd like to see some kits from that era.

Be careful what you wish for, you might just get it! A full kit of the Ferdinand is planned for the first half of 2009.

I have some of the better Bandai offerings on hand and am in the process of reworking and greatly improving them. Sure, they'll be in resin when completed and alittle more expensive but many will start appearing next year such as the Diamler Mk.I, 88mm Flak, Elefant/Ferdinand, Stug III C/D, M-12 (maybe) and others.
