I had a dream, and when I woke up, I saw this little scrap of paper with the site wrote on it. And here I am.
No, just track-link pointed me here.

When Jim started this site in December 2001, he posted messages in several online boards like RMS and Kithobbyist. I went to the site from the Kithobbyist site and this was the first board that was interactive with the users. He was asking us for feedback on the site, and made changes that we suggested.
Armorama's been my online home ever since, and he even gave me a gallery to upload photos of equipment that I take photos of. I'm one of the original members and am registered user #9. I know Jim used "anonymous" as registered user #1, I wonder what happened to registered users 2-8?

My first time was through RMS, then I looked and it was just getting started... a friend asked me to rate his site on Armorama and I have not looked back since.

I followed one of Jim's original posts on RMS at the beginning. I registered, but didn't jump in there at first. A week, or so went by, and I had to re-register because I forgot my original one. Been here ever since though...

Thru Google, I used to be on ML a lot but I never liked the cold atmosphere there, this is a warm home to be at, even if you don't activly build, you can come here and have fun.
Hmm I realy must go to the chat room more often, but then again, that is how I met my wife #:-)

I heard about it over on PCModeler.com. Not being much into armor I stayed away for probably a year. Then one day I was bored so I decided to stop by for a look-see. I saw a very friendly user base and a forum (with active users!) for aircraft and decided to stay. I'm not much for unipurpose boards so forums like Aircraft Resource Center don't do much for me. I like to see what people are doing in other genres.

:-) I don't honestly remember how I got here, but that doesn't matter, cos I'm here. I do remember thinking it was a site for armour modellers, but I liked the look and ventured further. As soon as I saw how friendly it was I sighned up. No other site compares, in the short time I've been a member this site has grown and keeps on growing. The best thing about Armorama is that I class everyone here as a friend, even though I have only met one member in person (Roger, Favorisio). Cheers to you all

I found this site through Google. I was looking for information on doing individual link tracks and Armorama was one of the results. Know I check Armorama almost everyday at least once. Keep up the good work Jim.
