But no one is pointing! I don't buy figure kits unless one is pointing. ;-)

Gary Kato in another thread posted the above which got me thinking. If I had one German figure shading his eyes and looking into the distance as if trying hard to see something how many other German figures could I get pointing at something?

I'll call the dio "Are you blind, it's right there"

Hey Pat,

Which theatre?

I've always fancied this pointing/"check it out" pair by Taesung

OR

If you had one JAPANESE figure shading his eyes and looking into the distance as if trying hard to see something how many other JAPANESE figures could you get pointing at something?

Sorry Pat, forgive my Anti-German model campaigning. You would be hard pressed to find pointing Japanese unless sculpting's your game. Go ahead with your German pointing idea if you wish. If it turns out as dynamic as your jumping ditch diorama then we are in for a treat!

I half think we could do such a campaign.

How about on HF? Then we can open it to all historical periods and scales?

Just remember when you are pointing 1 finger, you have 3 pointing back!

Of course in my poverty stricken wayward youth, my main weapon of choice was my trusty one finger six shooter that never ran out of ammunition!

I'm not a figure guy so I don't look here much. I hadn't realized I'd started something, but I'm glad I did. I just remember some people being tired of figure sets always having someone pointing. I thought of a diorama called "Too Many Cooks" where there is a map table surrounded by officers all pointing in different directions and at a map. Off to the side would be two enlisted men looking at each other with one pointing to his head.
