They look very nice and it will be great to have some U.S. tank riders to add to a tank

That's a very nice looking set, and it's gen 2. I am very happy with this set and the other recent figure releases from DML. I really like the uniform details. It would be really nice to get a similar set for the Pacific, or a four man crew for an M8 armored car, but I really do like what they have produced the last little while.

Didn't see that one coming. Very welcome set, there aren't that many good tank riders even in resin.

From what little we have to go on, they look good.
I second the request to the "big guy/gal" upstairs, please bring on some British/Commonwealth figs too.
Additionally, some B/C/ tank crew would be nice.
Cheers

More good news: Might use some of these chaps on my Churchill
Yip, I'd also go with above, some more British/Commonwealth troops and a set of Tankers too.
These look pretty cool, and a lot of folks will find a use for these figs.

No surprise in my personal opinion, just another US GI set.
If they do a French infantry set/tank crew set, that's a surprise.
Just my personal opinion.

Of course (once again) although the figures themselves look good, the thought of MORE GENII U.S. weapons and equipment makes me want to do a happy dance round the computer (while scattering OD rose petals)...

Well, it certainly isn't. Not one company has ever done US Tank Riders (in plastic). Few have ever done the figures with the M-1943 uniform (at least to a MODERN standard) and certainly no-one has done U.S. equipment or weapons as well as DML have (take a look at their USMC set).
My guess this set has been done in anticipation of their Pershing kit which we should see (the little plastic gods willing) soon..
French infantry or tank crews? How would THOSE fit into DML's product list? They do NO French vehicles or AFVs...

Hey Jim. Not too sure, as I have heard that these were designed to fit the rear deck of a Sherman. That said, it could all be speculative... I mean which Sherman? The decks did differ (say ten times whilst scattering the OD rose petals) and what was reported could have been catering to the most generic use, perhaps...
I do agree about the weapons though. Tremendous to get my grubby lil paws on some more of this quality

Not germans!!!!! DML has changed his mind!
For God's sake! Will you stop these ridiculous comments every time a DML release is reported on?
FYI the last four DML (figure) announcements:
DRA6376 - Soviet Guards Infantry 1944-45 ~ Gen 2
DRA6378 - US Army Tank Riders 1944-45 (Gen 2)
DRA6391 - ITALIAN INFANTRY EL ALAMEIN 1942
DRA6374 - Panzerschreck Teams 1944-45 (Gen 2)Now math was never my strong point, but according to my (rudimentary) calculations, there is ONE set of Germans which makes for 25% of the total.
Oh, and it's repeated Mantra, but it's worthwhile going into a darkened room and repeating the following for a few hours:
