I would love to see more Polish infantry from the 1939 period and MOST of all some ANZACS! Aussie troops from the WWII Middle East and Pacific theatres - especially with the trade-mark slouch hats.
It would also be good to get more sets of figures that are interacting with each other. Masterbox has done this a little with their hand-to-hand combat Russian/German sets, but it would be nice to have more variety. Perhaps some British and German soldiers slogging it out, or some Aussies and Japanese...

I thought of something: How about some US Army tank crews and tank riders from the PTO? It would be nice to have some from the 1942 defense of the Philippines, like some guys riding on top of M-3s, and also some from McArthur's liberation of the islands, and from Okinawa. I've never seen any Army figures from the PTO, only Marines, even though the Army sent twenty divisions to the Pacific. This is a huge oversight.

Really any WWII US figures would be welcome, especially those in winter uniforms.

I gotta agree with more tank riders of any nation.
Also, what I have thought would be pretty cool are figures that are in firing position of an external machine gun on a tank. Like the M1A1 Sherman MG, I can just imagine the crouching gunner on the engine deck firing away, or the stuart.

I'd just like more action poses in general.

I'll second Jim comment.
A nice idea is having some tankers or infantry firing a MG from a US halftrack, M5, M8 etc.. with a lot of action.
Best,
julien

I would love to see more modern stuff. Especially dutch figs. Also a Humvee crew, OIF figs, Europe countries and more IDF infantry.

Time for me to come out of lurking and go begging for some modern female soldiers.
And of course Swedish soldiers, especially serving in foregin countries. Our new desert uniform is great looking (though I would hate to paint it...)
And more commonwealth ww2 troops.
There are some female OIF figs, I thaught they were from Warriors.

Female figures, although Masterbox are bringing out some good ones, and especially civilians, including 'ladies of negotiable affection'. In the WWII era civilian clothes changed very little during the war years so the same figures could be used for the whole period.

Matt,
Your spreadsheet must be pretty full now .
General consenses I understand from the 4 pages is modellers want action poses .
Used in conjunction with tanks, halftracks and field pieces .
Figures loading/ firing in action
There was one group of figures I forgot to mention .
It was a commonwealth gun crew for the Tamiya 25 pounder in action.
Whatever your final tally or nationality is .
Please make an action figure
Thanks

I agree with the action figure. There are too many guys standing around these days! I would say '03 OIF invasion. USMC in mopp gear. I know MIG has ONE, but the guy is standing there like a stone. A Marine rifleman firing at someone would make my life!
And regarding the aux machinegun request for the sherman- Dragon has a tank crew set the has a guy firing the turret mounted .50

Hi Matt, just a few mainstream suggestions:
1. Brit Tankcrew -Western Desert at rest and on the vehicle. they wore an amazing variety of uniforms
2. C'wealth Troops in Greatcoats
3. US troops in greatcoats
4. A m10 or TD crew in action poses e.g. Driver, co driver, Gunner at his sight, loader and TC.
5. C'wealth medics with a stretcher bearer set.
Cheers
Al

I had a thought, since the models will be released soon, how about crews for the V-150 Commando armored car (US and ARVN) and for the VRC-105 Centauro tank destroyer (Italian and Spanish)? And soldiers of those nationalities catching a ride and sitting on top with their weapons and gear.
Someone has got to do it! These will be nice models and we need to really trick them out with great stuff.
