Al-- magnificent workmanship. This one should go in a diorama for a museum. Very nice job.

Hi DJ,
Thanks for you kind words, much appreciated. There were a few occasions I though it had me beat!! I'm awaiting the arrival of the Lion Road canvas cover, they are on holiday, hopefully that will add the finishing touch.
I have the 3 vehicles for my small dio almost complete now and have been working on a few of the figures, those and some ground work should keep me busy for a week or two.
Thanks again.

Hi James,
Thanks for you comments, much apppreciate. I just finished fitting the canvas gun cover this evening and adding a couple bits more stowage to the rear. Will post a few pics when I get it finally finished and if we get some decent daylight here lol, lol.
Cheers

Hi Guys,
Well I hope you like it. The Armorscale canvas cover fiinally arrived about 10 days ago, (they had been on hols), and I think I can now say it is finished. In an ideal world I would have fitted this much earlier and of course it wasn't designed to fit over the kit gun so a bit of cutting and swearing was needed but it is what it is.
A little more stowage had been added on the rear deck.
Cheers

Hi James,
Many thanks for looking and taking the time to comment. Appreciated.
I have written up the build and sent it in, so it should appear in time as a build feature,
Again, many thanks.

Alan,
One point. there is a small hole on the real vertical deck plate, right under your spare wheel. If there isn't on tghe kit, there should be. That hole needs to be kept clear as it is the hole where crews inserted the starting crank & turned the engine over, by hand, before attempting to start the engine. They did this each time they started the engine. It was to manually force any pooled oil out of the lower cylinders prior to starting the engine with the starter motor. If you try to start the engine with oil in the cylinders, you can blow the heads off the cylinders.
This is considered a "bad thing", by RSMs.
