Another youngster in the hobby great job. What I guess is you are trying to link the picture directly from your hard drive. Which will not work. You first have to upload it into Armorama's gallery. Everybody has his own space I believe it is 5 MB by now. You can access your gallery space here by clicking on the "photos" link which you will find next to your name in the posts. Top right you will find then the link to upload pictures. It is all very straight forward. From the gallery it is then peanuts to link through in the forums.
Hope you have something usefull with this information. If you still have questions post them here. We'll help you out

The groundwork is Sculptamold, really cheap and easy to use, and it comes in big bags. The Panzer is an old Tamiya. The figure is Dragon. I did a conversion on him though. I repositioned is right arm, using putty to fill the gap. He will have a Verlinden head also, which will be here as soon as I order it. All feedback is welcome. Any questions are also welcome.

I was able to put the static grass on tonight. I just put it on, so the white glue is still wet and shiny. Tomorrow I will do the washing and the drybrushing. I also need to shadow the groundcover. and the mud on the Panzer. feedback on prograss is welcome.

Jonathan - are you sure this is your first tank and that you're just 13?
No bull - that really is an EXCELLENT first effort, you've done a great job (and I'm not just saying that).
The camo is very nicely done, the weathering to the bare metal on the edges is terrific, and for a first-timer the level of detail you've included is absolutely fantastic.
Nice job on the aerial ID flag as well - gives it a nice spash of color.
The only thing I'd criticise about it is that you've probably gone a little too overboard on the mud on the side skirt panels.
But on the whole I'm really, really impressed. So don't go away now!! Keep posting up your work because it's a pleasure to see a young guy of such promising talent.

Nice job, looking forward to seeing the end result. You might want to change the rifles on top of the turret as they were not issued to tank crews and see if you can find a piece of smaller gauge chain. But keep up the good work, just wish my stuff had looked so good at your age

Steve,
Thank you very much for your kind words. I began modelling because I LOVE History. The sculptamold is easy to scrape off so I will fix that on the side skirts. I did start a JagdPanther, but never finished it until after I finished this one. I am actually almost done with that one now.
Before I did 1:35 I did 1:18 Ultimate Soldier. Fun way to learn how to use an airbrush. But I never went into detail with those big guys.
Keep in touch with my blog because I am having alot of fun with it.
The ID flag was very difficult to get the right look. Look at this website to se the discussion forum-
http://www.track-link.net/forum/modelling_construction/11672
As you can see it was a rough start. I am about to start on the perfecting (hopefully) the static grass. So I will post pics.

Darryl,
Thank you for the kind words. Would MP-40's or KAR-98's be better. I was thinking about using one of my moms old peice of jewlery, If I can get her to do it. those chains would be more to size.
Or do you know a company or place that sells that type of stuff? Any help would be grateful.

John,
Great job. If this is your first completed armor and you're 13, trust me, you're going to be someone to watch in the future. This is an excellent effort and that goes double for being your first.
Here's a link for chains:
http://www.squadron.com/ItemDetails.asp?item=VE0620
Also, my one suggestion would be that you water down the celluclay a bit more when applying the skirt plates so that it looks a little less clumpy. Still, great job and can't wait to see it finished.

Indeed - as tylusfaust says, if that's a measure of your work then you're definitely going to be 'one to watch'.
Honestly - I was nowhere near that good at your age, and I'd be willing to bet that most of the other guys here can honestly say the same. Seriously dude - I'm well impressed!
With regard to the chains, most jewellery chains that would be suitable scale-wise for 1/35 tend to be a bit too ornate.
If you have no joy at squadron.com, then you might like to try model railroad suppliers - they often have chains that fit the bill.

I just got done airbrushing the grass. It made the grass stand up a little more to so I am pleased with it. Here is the pic.The road material finally dried so, I also have to airbrush the dirt road. It might be an hour or so.
tylusfaust,
Thank you for the kind words and the website. Its pretty cheap also, so thats a good Idea for me.

Here is the result of airbrushing the dirt road. It still needs a good wash. Not the best picture but it has started to rain so I could not go outside.

These are the last updates for a while because it will be a while with waiting for the Verlinden head. I was speeding today to get as much done as possible.
These first two show the latest on the Panzer Officer.
This shows the base now sprayed with black. Looks alot better.
The fig still need some shadowing and highlighting.
I will post progress in the next few days.

John
