Nice build.
Too bad HobbyBoss don't include crew figures, I'd like to build one carrying a Sherman, coming ashore.

I came across a number of naval crewman figures sometime ago. I know they were on Luck Models website. I have to check the manufacturer, but I have the sets(s) at home and the figures are nice.

DJ,
I started out with a base coat of Model Master OD green. And then a lot of washs and dry brushing with several greens and browns till I got something I liked. I always kinda make it up as I go along.

Dave--impressive. I have the 1/35 scale one on order from Lucky Models. Did you find any suitable 1/48 figures?

Thanks Dave. There are some better shots of it at the Track48 gallery here

Bert, Still no luck with a crew. Someone on another site had the ones from Lucky and he thought they sucked.
