I just picked this kit up on a package buy with a collection. There is a lot of resin included, but the quality appears questionable. Before I tackle (or sell) this kit, does anyone have any input on how it builds up, or is it a $90+ starter for additional aftermarket add-ons? Thanks, Ric

Total (and totally illegal) rip-off of the Accurate Armour one.

What's that one (the AA kit) like?

In fact I'd be interested to get some general impressions of AA kits as I've never built one but have one in the stash (the T-28 super heavy, which was a birthday present from SWMBO this year).

It looks okay, but I haven't done anything with it as yet.

Well, that would explain the lack of information available. I do believe this is the first time I've ever obtained a true "pirate job" with a model kit. Maybe I can use the parts in the DML Bishop. At $60, it will be a pretty expensive detail kit for the Bishop. Bummer. Thanks for the information.

Ric, hi.....

I build this kit few years ago...
It's the worst kit ever made...
Lots and lots of blood, swet and tears....

The all saga is here: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v722/Panzerserra/Archer/?start=all&special_track=album_paginate_top_view_all

and the results:

The vehicle is awesome, but the kit is awful...

Good luck !!!!

Marcos, That is an impressive build! In looking at the "in progress" photos, I am surprised the kit was never a victim of frustration and impact with a wall. Excellent. Thank You for the photo links. Ric

So - this begs the question. Does anyone have the "real" kit built and photographed so we can see just how hard Marcos had to work to complete the "pirated" version? Ric

Indeed !!!

In several occasions, I really thought about doing this: to throw the kit in the wall!!!!

But I always liked the lines of Archer...

Good chase!!!
