I would like to add a burnt-out or abandoned Soviet truck to a diorama, and have been looking at the Ziz 5V and GAZ -AA kits by MAC and Zvezda respectively. I have no experience with or knowledge about these manufacturers, and would like to know which is the better kit in terms of:
1.) historical accuracy
2.) production quality
3.) fit
Also, what, if any AM upgrades (wheels, PE, etc.) are really necessary to make them accurate?
Thanks in advance.

2 in-box reviews that may help :
Italeri/Zvezda ZiS-5V : http://www.missing-lynx.com/reviews/russia/ital297.htm
Eduard makes a PE set for this kit :
Set #35525
Zvezda GAZ AA (re-boxing of Toko/Eastern Express kit) : http://www.cybermodeler.com/hobby/kits/zve/kit_zve_gazaa.shtml
Part has released a PE set for the GAZ AAA kit (#35007) but it should be useable with the GAZ AA as well :
