Wow! I am spit balling the price 75 Euros are about $100 plus...is that about right?

Yeah DJ, it converts to $117.54 USD, but Luckymodel has it for $59.99 USD, half that price. It definitely looks worth 60 bucks!

lucky model has it but has it been released? to other shops Great models still has it as pending. I want it just not for 80 some bucks although it is probably worth it. I would get shot spending that right now.

As I normally do not do German subjects, I have to say I just may have to pick one of these contraptions up.

It's actually listed as a pre order at Lucky Models also. Coming in at a mere 72 and change with shipping, at that price, I don't think you can beat it with a stick.

I think this is one of the most interesting kits ever moulded. It will be interesting to see how this subject is handled by modelers in the near future. Congratulations to Bronco for production of this kit.

Hmmmm......since Bronco have done the LWS (and I expect they are going to sell A LOT of them) might they also kit the Panzerfahre in the future? Pure speculation, I know, but we can only hope!

Hobbyeasy has it on preorder also with the release date listed as the first of August. Not too far away.

It is a very nice model, but the price tag is a bit hefty. I will probably end up buying this one anyway, but you can still get a lot of Dragon and Trumpeter kits for the same price.

Bronco is also supposed to be coming out with a 'LATE' version of this in the future (at least according to one of my suppliers), as well Hobby Boss is coming out with an "Early' version that is going to be about 2/3rds the price of the Bronco on. Mind you, no idea on quality.

I've had one on pre-orer for a while. I like the inclusion of the flag...especially as it is correct. As to rope bumpers, there is someone who makes this type product. He did a set up for the DUKW and I think as soon as he gets ahold of one of these he'll have a set for it. Check on the Model Shipwrights section

Thanks for the nice replies. It is a nice kit wihtout doubt. Even though there are things that Bronco could have helped or at least added to the kit.
As mentioned in the review a company called thachweave makes some really nice rope bumpers for the kit so it might be worthwile to invest in a set of them to add that finishing touch to your LWS

There is a Canadian company which makes netting for the DUKWs. I am trying to find it.

Hi!

I'm building this kit at the moment - actually, there are some faults, that Bronco has made.

Bronco provides two color schemes: 667 in Africa and 1071 in eastern front. Actually, looking at the photos, 667 doesn't seem to be dark yellow, but dark grey, also the backround is more like western Europe, than Tobruk and there are quite a lot 667 photos to be sure about that. (also 667 doesn't have a search light and flagstaff, so if you choose to build the 667, don't use these parts)

Also Bronco provides type A and type B versions of the LWS (early mid. production and late mid. production) Despite that according to the manual 667 is type A and 1071 is type B, actually 667 is type B and 1071 is type A.
