I rarely say this about any model, and never before about any Trumpeter model, but:

WOW!

Is this vehicle a MAN derivitive truck?

Where are they manufactured?

Looks like in traditional Trumpy fashion, it will have a gazillion tiny pieces to make up
one assembly!

Thanks

The M1078 is built by Stewart & Stevenson Tactical Vehicles Systems (IIRC in Sealy, Texas). It's based on a Austrian Steyr 12M18 truck :

Looks great. Definitely adding it to the list of models to get. I wonder how long before a AM Resin or PE company comes out w/the armored cab for it. That would make a really cool model.

Reminds me of a WWII M25 Dragon Wagon.

Move over Tamiya and Academy.
If Trumpeter keeps this up ,and I believe they will, they will have marketing share of modern
reasonably priced kits.
They've come a long way in a short time frame and and seem to be listening to they're consumer.

Hi Seb,

I also canīt wait to get one and make it into the "Special Forces" version. As I know you already build one from vacuform, I just wonder if you have some detailed pictures of this vehicle...???

I have about 6 - 7 pics which are mostly done from distance and unfortunately do not show properly how the upgrades are done.

Should you have some and are willing to share, please let me know.

Thanks a lot.
