Hi Guys,
I can't tell you all how much fun I've had building these, it's been a real hoot. The final madness was making a complete set of webbing for the back of the Mk I out of lead wire
God help me I've got the 3" mtr and MG version to do too, and having got Nigekl Watson's book who know what the final count may be
BTW for those American, German and Japanese builders dont forget they had them to!!
Thanks for all the help and comments guys it has been a lot of fun.
Al

I can't believe how prolific a builder you are, SWMBO must be a very understanding woman !!

Hi Calvin,
The two tall ones are the Deep Wading conversion from Resicast. Thye one on the LHS is the NEW wading set with the stowage also from Resicast. The one on the RHS is the older Resicast conversion with a mix of stuff I put toghether.
Bill, many thanks for the comments.
John, send her off to work !!!

Alan those really rock. Awesome thanks for sharing. Not something I would try though they look to small for my troublesome hands. Great to look at though.

Never say never James, the Americans had them in Manilla, so there's something you might want to investigate.
Again, thanks for the comments, mcuh appreciated.

Hey Alan, Excellent work.
Question: The Landing craft in the last photo post. Who makes that?? Looks like the Accurate Armour model, or am I wrong on that.
I've been toying with the idea of an Italy invasion dio.
Thx.

Hi Brian,
Thanks, glad you enjoyed the pics. The LCM 3 is the Italeri version, it's a good solid build. An invasion of Italy sounds just fine I've modified it a bit to be a bit more British. Trumpeter also do the same kit but it is slightly bigger and has a deeper well, although you get the fittings for both RN and USN in their version. I've been told that there were slight differences in the boats depending on who manufactured them.

Hey Al,
Wish you would add more of these photos to you gallery, they're just great.
I must have missed them from your previous posts as I've not seen many of them.
Cheers

Cool,
I've got the LCVP from Lindberg. I think Italeri bought the mold and cleaned it up alittle, Again I'm not sure on that.
Thx for the info on that.
BTW, Have you seen the Accurate Armour Kit??

Yet gain the devil is in the detail. Top notch work, and there looks to be some light at the end of the diorama tunnel?

Hi John,
Apologies on the pics. There were lots in the threads I dd on them, but when I re-organised my PB gallery I cut the links. There's not that much space in the Gallery here so I tend to limit my pics to 1 or 2.
These are for you: 2 UC from the Guards Armoured Div:
5th battalion Coldstream Guards
The Independent Motrar and Machine Gun Company (1st Company Royal Northumberland Fusiliers)
No crews yet John, that will depend on their final home.
Hi Brian, If you mean the Accurate Armour LCT 4, yip it's a beauty, but a bit out of my price range and space. Now if someone did the LCT 6 I think it is, the small one that could carry 4 tanks, well I don't know the origins of the Italeri kit so can't throw and light on that but the new Revelle one looks to be the Trumpeter version with a jeep and trailer aded. I did measure the wall in my living room just out of interest and it would fit, although I might need a crane to move it lol, lol, lol
Hi Brad, thanks for your kind comments. So far it seems to have been a year of boats, brens and Cromwells lol, lol. Shermans are stacking up not to mention the new ACs. Lots of fun ahead.
Cheers
