I think the only figure thatīs having something special on is the pilot. I was thinking about that the pilot could be stepping out of the cockpit in a bright foil suit...A figure conversion made of a Russian tanker, of course with some additional thingies like oxygen mask etc...

As this is a fantasy subject, I wonīt be too picky about historical accuracy when it comes to uniforms and such. In the end of the war, I think itīs possible that regular soldiers carry all kinds of equipment. My Horch is wearing SS Totenkopf markings, I guess itīs ok?

Toni, I love the tracking device !
The only problem I see is that in 43 vehicles were repainted to dark yellow ! SO by late war I don't know if there would have been grey vehicles left !

I think the horch looks so cool with the anteanna! Great work. As for the ground ...... look to the aircraft guys........ squares of concrete with grass growing in the gaps between each square as its underused or not used. Maybe some old round corrugated roof buildings as a back drop! Looking forward to seeing this finished!!

ARGGHH. On the other hand, there were not too many UFOs either. I think I still stick with the grey one, itīs essential for the looks of this dio. The athmosphere in the small original illustration is something spectacular. I want German-look. I want military-look! I WANT GREY!
And, of course, I donīt have to determine the date for this scene afterall, it was so secret that nobody knew about it!
Thanks penpen for the info!

Plasticbattle, youīre reading my mind.
That kind of airfield is just what I need. Maybe a abandoned-looking one, that allied recon discarded as empty field... Camo nets to cover essential equipment etc...

Next I will open up my old printer and see if there are any UFO parts in there!
Progress shots perhaps during the weekend...
