Shore is a nice looking kit there. I had forgotten how much brass they gave you with it. I was about to ask what set you had bought as I liked what I saw. Went back and opened mine up and there it was. Have to say, 9 times out of 10 Dragon give you pretty complete kits nowadays.

Looking good so far. How are you planning on finishing it? What markings will you use?

Looks like it is coming along well. A couple pointers. The PE jerry can racks on the sides are for water cans (single handle). You wouldn't want to mix the water and fuel cans there to avoid contamination. Also, if you plan on leaving th M 240 MG on the top deck, repaint the butstock black. The US version has black resin butstock, pistol grip, and forestocks.

One comment I would have to make is, even though we've seen it time and time again with models, the items you have on the sponson boxes, the long boxes on the sides of the turret with the lids on them, these would not have large items on them because the crew has tools, personal gear, food, water for quick grabs, in them. So the crew would mostly move the stuff to the top where the two big rectangle are. The pics you posted show alot of the tank crews working to keep the boxes from being blocked. This is one of the reasons that they put the extended bustle racks on the back of the turrets.

It slowly advances to the finish. The bagages are rearranged to a most likely last position.I will add a tarp over the BRE, like the famous BooM StiK of Matthew Sinclair.

Killer PE!!!
The first one was really tricky to bend and place. Then I made a tool to grab and hold until the glue dried. It came really easy after this, 20 minutes and I got the job done on both sides.

The cable is not glued in place.Only one cable will be attached.

Here are some pictures that I have hosted on Prime Portal of M1A2's in Iraq. There are a couple of detailed photos of the mine plow and attachment points, etc. I don't know if mounting is any different on an M1A1 or not.
