Steve-O aka Da Sushi Dude.
Your pre-shade painting technique really "pops" on this vehicle Steve---very well done. I am going to try that on the Pershing I am building.
The tracks look great also---can you please tell us how you did these paint/finish please?
This looks really well done---good stuff Steve.

Looking very nice! I want to build one of these soon. Any notes on construction you would like to share with us?

Looking good, you have used the cloud technique to fruition.

Cool, the "mobile fortress" as I think about it, did those heavy bastards actually got to fight? heard they mostly broke down on eastern front but that the germans captured some, anyway very nice job so far!

Octupus, I find the coloring very good and the way you built it really neat. The only problem I can see is with the decals... Did you gave the model a gloss coat before seting the decals?
Ciao
P.S.: sorry no clue about the meaning of the big decal...

Very nice beast Steve! Your painting technique breaks up the monotonous single-color tank. Very clean build!

Wow, what a monster! Very cool thought, imagine that thing come at you (very slowly, I'll bet though). Do you know what the white triangles signify? Just curious (don't know much about the Russian stuff).

Steve,
Great job so far! You are very good at the pre-shading and cloud method! Are you going to use something for the headlights?
To answer some of the questions here so far:
The markings are of a tank captured by the Germans and given to the Ukrainian Liberation Army. The slogan on the side says something like, "Dedicated to Stephan Bandera" who was the ULA's leader. (unfortunately, they are not entirely correct for this vehicle since the Stephen Bandera was a model 1939 not a model 1935 as this vehicle is).
Yes these things saw combat. All in 1941 on the Eastern Front. Most either broke down or were knocked out during the summer of 1941, but a number fo them were used in the defense of Moscow during the winter of 1941.

Guys,
Thanks for all your kind words and thanks Adam again for explaining the Russian words.
The paints I used are all from Tamiya Acrylics Dark Green and add flat yellow for preshading.

Beautiful monster !!! I love it!! Big mean and Russian.. can't go wrong with that!

Look forward to seeing the completed work of art. What else are you planning on doing with it? I noticed you said you were waiting for the whitewash.
