Hi
I think your sherman looks great!
Nice work

A dirty/dusty colour wash over the top once all the stowage is on, might look better just to blend everything together.

Adding a few more tarps.
Sorry for the blurry pic seems if I had moved it back it would of been clearer then the bottles at the rear.

Looks amazing, great weathering! Nice diorama base too. Frank is very talented and it seems he has taught you a trick or two.

Calling this one done until the Cim-rope gets here.

First thanks to Per-Erik for the inspiration to do one and Frank for his *cough* to copy his base idea.

Looking really good, bud! Glad my build inspired you to do one too.
Couple of minor nitpicks if you don't mind.

I think the tracks came out great, but maybe try to tone down the rusty appearance on them a tad, and a bit more "steely" look on the ground contact areas of the tracks.
The rear lights, they should all be blacked out exept for the upper left one that should be red, as yours.

Again, nice overall apperance, can't wait to see the Lee in progress.

Okay are you saying the the right one should be Black and no red on Top?

I have both tops red and bottoms black.

Suggestions on the Steely color would be good also.

So chime in Buddy.

Thanks Jasper for the comment.

Yup bud that's correct, the right one should be blacked out too, no red on top.
Like in this pic borrowed from HeavyArty...

As for the steely color I think you should use a dark metallic grey and sort of "scrub" it on, after transferring most of it off the brush, kinda like dry brushing. Then you can use a regular 2H or a carpenters pencil on the raised portions of the tracks to get a more metallic sheen., or you can use MIG Gun Metal pigment.

Just my two cents, buddy!

Thanks for the reply will give it a look at when this Cim-rope arrives as I have to tie down the gear anyway.
Glad I left the tracks so they come off..
But I must admit there are a bunch of Sherman's with there rear's in red. lights that is.
