Hi,

Just finished up painting and weathering a section of VLS's resin brick road to put down under an older Tamiya Sherman Jumbo. Hope to later on add some war rubble around the vehicle to sort of 'set the scene' so to speak.

Also just finished painting, weathering and adding a set of Fruilmodel white metal tracks to Tamiya's new T-55 kit. Very nice tracks and model as well. I'm really sold on these track links. I know that they are expsensive and all, but I don't think you can get better, personally speaking.

Also have been working on and off on Dragon's Nashorn (early) model. This is a really nice kit too, but it has a whole lot of ejection pin marks on it, but I won't hold that against it. Still have a long way to go, but am getting ready to do some of the painting now.

Am also planning to start here before too long Dragon's Panther A (late). Picked up a set of resin zimmerit sheets from A-tack and this is really nice. Only thing is that it is made for Dragon's A (early) kit, so there's a few modifications I'm going to have to make to it as I go along. But that's okay

Just ordered Dragon's Karl Mortar kit. Think that this is going to be a real nice kit, but am going to hold off on it and see what after-market stuff comes out for it later on down the road. This kit has a real nice turned aluminum shell for it.

Also have Tamiya's FAMO and Dragon's Panther Ausf D sitting under the bed gathering dust and kitty hair. When I will get around to these it's hard to tell, but one of the neat things about getting older is that you learn that things will fall into their own place, in their own time.

And this doesn't even begin to cover figure building and painting, which I had hoped to work on this summer, or fall, or this coming winter, or next spring.

Guess it really boils down to too many models and too little time. Ha, ha!

Take care sgirty :-)

Right now iam working on a 4by4 dio. (in feet!) I know its big but I couldnt make it much smaller for what I wanted to do.

Its a Vietnam diorama, of a convoy being ambushed by the VC. Iam going to have 2 guntrucks, THE MAFIA, 3 supply trucks, 1 damages, and a M113 recovering wounded drivers.

What iam working on know is the hairpin turn, of An Khe Pass, I cut and shaped the styraphone and then convered it with the paper, and water&glue mix. Going to put celluclay over it. then I start work on the mountain.
