New guy here *waves*

Just curious as to what projects you guys and gals are working on at the moment? I have a few ideas floating around this thick skull of mine, but haven't decided on what to work on next. Maybe hearing a few words from ya'll will inspire me!

Diorama wise -I have a few touches on Splash (Charlie Fox) to work on a few details.
I have a french country road check point with a half track and jeep about 1/3 of the way done. It's all scratch built setting and Tamiya vehicles with some VP figures. Twisted wire trees, poured plaster stone wall, poured plaster/resin cobble/rock roadway.
Then I've got some work starte on VP's Black Smith shop with a German Kitchen and Krupp Protz in the works. Probably entitled - "Resupply - Body and Works"

Oh and that's on top of the M109 I've got going for the Cold War Cook Off and the Figure I've got going for Small & Big.

Alway somethin' workin on my Bench.

I am working on a 1/32 Revell F-15E kit and a Sd.Kfz 10 half track. The plane is allmost done with some painting remaining and the other kit is half way through construction.

I am also trying to build a tree with wire for possible future use in a dio...

Not really sure what comes next

This is the project that is busy getting me out of my modeling blues at this moment.

It`s the SDKFZ 250/10 with 37 mm Pak captured by the polish army

I am working on an M-48A3 Patton, nearly done, Sd.Kfz. Wespe, and a dio with antitank guns in a hedgerow in 1/35, all tamiya.
I've got a Hurricane II (monogram) and a Yak 1 on skis (accurate miniatures) in 1/48.
Also, for a change of pace, 28mm wargamming paratroopers from BlackTree to make a mini Normandy diorama. They are similar in size to 1/48
More ambitious projects - 1/35 Tiger with Interior (academy kit - got it for $65 AUD!!! (bout 100USD) and a Tamiya Clear MiG15bis!!
Its going down....

I am working on surprise, surprise a GW2 M2A2, and (straight out of the box) a Tamiya Centaur. I'm also going to start doing some US kitbags, bergens which I'm going to produce in resin. I've also got an AMT A-20 Havoc, which I'm gonna finish one of these days.... Jim

Painted the roadwheels black on 32 parts for the Dragon Hummel last night. Tonight, if I don't take a break I am going to start sanding the ejector pin marks off a gozillion track links.

I'm currently working on a 1:1 scale garden, that is consuming all of my nights and weekends (because it's the missus' hobby). I'm crossing my fingers for a weekend of lousy weather so that I can invest a little time in my hobbies...

1:1 scale Garden. Is that PE or resin?

I can't decide what to build. Either a 120MM figure or bigger, a 1/35th scale StuG, AAV7A1, or 1/35h scale AH-1W.
I'll decide by the end of the week. So many things to build, and I want to do them all at once....

Is that the new Tamiya, 1:1 garden or the old one? I've heard rumours that Dragon are bringing one out this summer.........................................Dig it man! #:-)

Some of us are indeed blessed, my dear wife would love a garden but since we live in a flat, not a lot of chance......hehehehehe..... #:-)

Okay here we go:

1) Damaged windmill (verlinden) being used by about 30 wehrmacht soldiers for a rest area behind the line.

2) Creating 4 new plaster kits for sale on the website:
- Middle Eastern Government Building (Operation Freedom, anyone?)
- Tall European Rowhouse
- European Well
- European Farmhouse with Barn

3) German Marching Band (multimedia)... got the SOL German marching band (27 resin figures!), that will be strutting their stuff through a bavarian town in fron't of shops and bystanders... I anticipate this piece will have close to 60 resin figures. It will also have WWII German marching music which will play on demand, with the player hidden in the base, and the speakers hidden inside of the buildings in the background. I even found some crowd noise! Now if I could just find a recording of the "goose-stepping boots" to play between songs.

Small vignette of a dead Russian Soldier behind sandbags in an urban neighborhood.. surrounded by a child's play toys left by the previous occupants.

Small vignette of three German officers having coffee and cakes at a little Italian Bistro, with a waiter in the background.....

Is that enough projects for now... on top of my Campaign entry to SPLASH?

I'm making a Tet Offensive diorama that has a blown up bridge over some water and on the bank some buildings. In the water I'm going to put a PBR firing on land helping out a bunch of guys pinned down while either my M-48, or an M-113 comes to give them cover as they leave. It's gonna take a while since I got some more models to build before I work on the base. I'm debating on whether it'll be city buildings, or rural buildings. It'll be my first official diorama in 1/35th scale.

Finally, I have started on Tamiya's Centaur IV, I bought the kit several years ago in Portugal and have been thinking about it ever since. It was going to be built straight out of the box but now I have discovered the most amazingly useful article in anzacsteel, with loads of photos which has inspired me greatly to add afew bits and pieces to improve the basic kit... Nothing dramatic, extra stowage, removal of the Besa Mg, different markings etc. I want to put it in a diorama, anyone out there got any suggestions? It will probably be in Normandy, I've already got some marines done to accompany the Centaur, I want amore relaxed scene...nothing over-dramatic.... Suggestions? Jim

I'm finishing up a us ww2 motar team scene. The figues are about finished I just need to do the ground work on the base for it. After that I'm going to start on a german flak 88. I'm thinking of making a dio out of it set in normandy with some trenches and trees near it.
