Let's keep this ON-topic please. This is for discussing THE model and not who has the best tank. Also please don't feed trolls.

Has anyone seen any advertizing for this kit? I have not seen or heard anything. If it is supposed to released in this month, wouldn't there be some form of kit review, pictures or something on it.
I can't wait for it to come out. I hope it is accurate.

Hi All,
I am told by my hobby shop that the Merkava 4 supposed to be released this month.
It has been advertised on a Japanese website. The price around 32,400 yen which calculates to around £25- £30 sterling.
I have ordered one from my hobby shop and I wait that it will be forthcoming.

well I'm happy to inform you all that the new IDF Merkava Mk. IV should be released by Feb. 28th now that is the report at hlj. I have seen that the date was moved up to Mar some time but I'm still looking into that.

I must say that the kit images in that link look realy good. I must point out something about the kit or the lay out of the Mk IV's turret. The Mk. IV new turret is based on the LIC turret not the BAZ turret of the first version. On the BAZ turret there are two hatchies not one. But once the kit comes out any one that want's to add the 2nd halfround flat hach cover it will not be all that hard to add. It looks a lot like the the hatch on and Bradley M3A2 turret. I have photos of the two turrets from a over the top view give me some time and I'll be back and post them for you all to see the two.

Hi Captin, did you see this thread?
https://armorama.kitmaker.net/forums/132449&page=1
Hobbyeasy had the kit listed for a mid Febuary release (the 15th). Also a couple of small corrections, there is no BAZ turret, or LIC turret. BAZ is the designation for the Merk 3's newer FCS and has nothing to do with the modular armor pack used on the turret of the Merk 3 Dor Dalet, or the Merk 4. (by the way, the Mk 4 uses an upgraded BAZ FCS) The loaders hatch found on newer production Merk 4's was added mainly because the crews wanted one, it had nothing to do with the LIC mods. The loaders hatch has only been fitted to part of the fleet, you can still find many Merk 4's with just the commanders hatch like in the Academy kit. Taking a closer look at the sprues, the area of the turret where the loaders hatch would go is a separate piece, so Academy may release another one in the future with the loaders hatch and all the LIC mods .
Regards,
Mike

Hay thanks for the links and info. You know you could just add the ex hatch your self. If the person has the skills to do so, any way I want one. To day I'm ordering the IDF Namer ARV from SQ-Squadron wich is based on the Mk IV or is it realy the Mk. III any way I'm going to build that here as well. I have no need to buy a book on it as there's so much info & photos online I think I may just be able to have a realy good project.
IDF Namer ARV First version and secend version.
An the resin kit:
These images are of the APC version, An also has bean called the Merkava Mk. IV BAZ Namer LIC.
