Hello Neil
Thanks, yes, I chipped the zimmerit myself. I think I will paint the chipped areas a light grey color.
Thanks for looking and commenting

Quick update tonight. I sprayed the base coat; it is my usual Tamiya Dark Yellow mix, which consists of Tamiya Dark yellow, mixed with white and yellow. I decided that this Tiger will be #213 commanded by SS-Hauptscharführer Höflinger, who witnessed the destruction of Tiger 007 and the death of Michael Wittmann on August 8, 1944.

What is next? I may do some dark and light shading of the Dark Yellow mix, before adding camo.

Nice clean build Nicholas. I like the chipped zimmerit. Will be interesting to see this painted up, to show the built in signs of damage. Have you any images of the interior bfore closing it up?

sorry, i dont have any pics of the interior. This tiger was orginally built 2 years ago, before I bought my camera and I just finished construction.

I have never seen anyone mix NATO colors for German camo, but i have to say, i like the results. The camo also looks very neat and well applied. Good work.

Nicholas, this one is looking very good too. Do you build anything other than Tigers? Would like to see your work on other subjects too. But keep going. Nice job. Send me a pm on where you got that kit from Voyager for the Mid production Tiger. The one I asked you to photograph for me. I think you said it was AAA something or other. Do they have a web address? Thanks.

Nicholas,
I have been silently following your projects (Tiger's

) and have learned a great deal already from you. Your builds are very inspirational and informative. You always manage to place items (such as the montex masks) that you use on your builds during your in process photos that give us the viewer an idea of how to achieve some of the same results with our builds that you achieve!
Again your latest project is turning out beautifully. Hope that my builds will turn out have as good as yours do! Thanks for sharing and presenting us with some very excellent photo views of your fantastic builds. Can't wait to see the final results on this one!

Very small update tonight
I painted the chipped Zimmerit areas a mid grey color using Vallejo paints. I still intend to shade these areas to add contrast. The tiger was given an oil wash and the tracks are now completed.

What’s next? Painting the drive sprockets and attaching the tracks
