Domi, great job. No complaints from me. Unusual thought but that makes a great piece. I need to get one of those elelphants. Who makes them and are they available. Thanks.

Hello
The elephant is the mark of Schleich, a German brand that has an extensive catalog of animal figures and some are tailored by size to the scale we use.
I found the toy shops at Toys Arus and its catalog are the male, female and breeding of both the African and Indian elephants.
I never thought it would diorma the Pacific, but found the elephant and ................
had to use it for something right?

i have been finding the common point between all your dioramas Domi: they're all *extremely dynamic* there are always movements, stretched positions etc.. great movement and composition with the guy directing the Dodge!

Brilliant figure dynamics! Nice painting too.

The snake is an excellent touch and I really like the vegetation on which it is slithering.

Can't wait to see how you do the swamp.

Is what you see?

The different color mud coming up in the water around the figures feet is really a nice touch. The extra gear you've added to the car makes it fun to scan through and see what the mission may have been.

I am very, very impressed Domi!

For a more authentic look, I would add to the thickness of the jungle as the elephant moves further in. 'Jungle' is a term used describe a strip of regrowth a few metres thick where the rainforest has been cleared. On open land, this is usually done by humans (or by elephants bringing down trees causing an abundance of low regrowth, all competing within the new patch of sunlight), but as demonstrated in your diorama the clearing is done by the river itself as it cuts through the rainforest. I would suggest adding some saplings or perhaps a medium tree/large bushes to the back area of the diorama.

With a bit more work, your diorama would look typical of a muddy river with the rainforest encroaching upon it. But I do understand that you are almost finished and it may be to late to add something new.

Unfortunately the term 'jungle' is used rather loosely and can mislead people into creating settings which would in reality, have the characteristics of a rainforest.

Keep going mate,
Chas

Hola Domi
I think you have taken some chances with techniques on this diorama, but am happy to say that you have succeeded amigo.
A great job and lesson in scratchbuilding and scene composition.

The movement of the water of the chains and such brought this diorama up a level. Really nice touch. It took a static diorama that could have had a number of different 'points in time' and narrowed it to just one - right when the elephant pulls and snaps the chains out of the water.

Hi
Great diorama I love anything with water in it. Only thing Im unsure of is the elephant 1)african/Indian elephant 2) tusks and tail abit on the thick side (more the tail)
apart from this I think it is truely amazing what you have do Top Marks

this is a totally great diorama you have been doing Domi! it is hyper dynamic as usual with your work, and then the water bit is completely ace - the mud part is especially impressive; i can't believe the speed at which you climb up to the top level of the Diorama Makers of the World Unite

Domi
This is so great piece of work.
This should be on-display.
I really love the mix of water and jungle plants that are the 2 most difficult theaters to model and you master it.
