Here I show you took as manufacturing plants for a diorama in the Pacific,
There are all kinds, some are modifications of plants, plastic aquariums, dried plants and the latest decorations are made with the case of bottles of champagne.
Among this vegetation would put many roots, grass and so static to fill the gaps

Domi

Hi Domi,
I really like the aluminium foil plants in the last few pictures. They look very realistic!
BUT, I am struggling to make up my mind about the converted aquarium plants. The ones with the red centre and the very spiky plants look very outlandish, abnormal. They don't look anything like those growing in 'jungles' I have seen.
I am looking forward to seeing progress on this diorama,
Good luck,
Chas

Well .. This is the idea.
an all-terrain vehicle that can not salri of the lagoon due to an engine failure
(to advertise for an all-terrain) and is helped by a worker and her local animal draft
I hope that when you have all the vegetation in its place will change the look

Domi.
I have the feeling this will be an outstanding dio,but I must agree with Chas that maybe the aquarium plants could use a little air brushing.

Hi Domi,
The elephant and figure is very nice.
As I said, it is only the spiky plants and the ones with the red centre that I have a problem with. The rest looks perfect!
Looking forward to seeing more,
Chas

Beautiful plants Domi, but I agree with Chas, that there is something wrong with this spiky plants. Maybe you can use small palm trees.
Very interesting diorama composition.

Great work Domi.
Chas & Tomek are right I think. The Aluminuim foil plants are fantastic, the spikey (small / red) ones look a little weird.
Great work and Dio !

Did I dream this or did I see some critics about the plants or anything? Well i don't have ANY .
When someone comes as usual with an outstanding diorama idea and a perfect sense of balance between elements, my eye turns blind to anything else.
So as usual with Domi's work, i sit down and wait for the magic to take on

Hello
I am now building the base, especially the area to be covered by water.
The washed so ugly and the grass so green are motivated because
The first layer of resin will be tinted and partially concealed the vision of the fund
saludos

Excellent stuff Domi, certainly a change of pace from your "Maiale" diorama!
About the plants..top quality!
Plants come in all colours, shapes and sizes and even if the spiky one with the red centre doesn't exist, what's wrong with a bit of "artistic license" now and then?
I hope diorama building doesn't become all "olive drab" and "blackened tank barrel"..if you know what I mean
I recently tried cutting away at the left overs from a wine bottle but didn't even come close to producing what you have here.
Which scale and make is the elephant?
Cheers,
Shay
(Sorry to hear about the mishaps with the other water product mate)

I am glad to know that you like.
actually make plants with the metallic packaging of the bottle has no secrets, only drawing the shape and cut.
As for plants, plastic, I'm going to take some license because of the skewers and I like the red flowers ...., I think in the jungle there must be a lot of variety in addition to floral green plants is not it?
The elephant is the German mark Schelich, I only had to give it a wash with oil to turn off the gray plastic that is somewhat artificial, does not put the scale but it seems to me a perfect Asian elephant, this brand also has a female and the breeding of African and Asian elephants.
Here you get a photo of the animal next to a figure so you can compare
Regards
Domi
P.D. I am not forgetting the Maiale, when it returns this end

This is a nonsense, but I had fun doing much to the "driver" of the elephant, use
the bottom of the driver of the sas jeep Tamiya, the upper part of the operator's radio kubel of Italeri and some arms of the box of leftovers, I now have to produce sandals
In the hand I'm going to put a stick of wood finished in a metal tip
Saludos

An unsual dio idea which I always find fascinating.
Personally I'm ok with 'spiky' plants coz they resemble Pandanaus (minus the stilt roots) often found in wet or swampy areas here in the tropics. The foil leaf plants are nicely done and do to a certain extent resemble Philedendrons. Despite being acquarium plants which I tend to avoid due to scale issues I have to say Domi these are very well dressed up to look like tropical plants and the best I've seen done up so far for acquarium plants. Excellent work.

Great hat on the driver, great method!
I noticed something that is dead on: the ration between matt and gloss on the elephant, I like the somewhat shiny head, but then maybe.. Elephants like to roll into dust don't they? so why not playing with some real matt colours with some pigments or whatever near the elephant's behind while having glossy and wet feet or etc?

Hello everyone
Here you get some progress on the construction of the ground.
a layer of synthetic pigment, another of lawn and a third train spice kitchen to finish with a good hand
"ball of the sea"
after paint in various shades of green, I was trying to leave by placing a fairly dense vegetation
saludos

Hello everyone
I put some of the Dodge imangenes almost finished
and I thought that to balance the diorama and because the figures were located at the ends of it, would not be a bad place at the center.
That figure represents the soldier who coupling chains (here at the moment a rope) and gives the order to push their peers
What is your opinion?

Hi Domi,
The pose in which you have placed your figure pulling the rope is excellent. You can 'feel' the tension in the diorama! Well done

Hola Domi
As usual you have created an amazing environment, and for one I have no problem with the converted plants; once together they seem to 'feed' off each other and condense the scene.
The boggy mire/swamp has the right colour and texture, and the centre figure placement adds the illusion of a little fast movement to what would otherwise be a 'slow' kind of action scene.
Any thoughts of adding some foliage that appears to have been pushed out of the way of the elephant?
Great stuff
Brad
