Does anyone have a link to any reviews of this kit?
Or, if you have built one, what do you have to say about it.
Thanks for your help!

Now You have a choice.
You can do 040 or the 041 type. And Trumpeter announced a K5 Leopold. This is large model madness.

Bought it, built it, still painting it (soo much to paint)....not a bad kit. If you can get a deal on it and not pay an arm and a leg for it....it is probably worth your while. Not the best kit Dragon has put out, but certainly not the worst either. The only complaints I have heard is the level of detail is kinda sparse (I agree) and that if you are not careful the length-and-link track peices don't line up right, and you end up either a half a link to long, or a half a link to short. As being not one to kick and scream about the true to scale accuracy of a model, it works for me. Just wish there was some more detail....and maybe some figures (Dragon I hope you are listening).....or better yet a Munitions Panzer to go with this!!

Hi. Looked over a kit a week or so ago at a local hooby store, and I will have to agree that it seems kind of sparse on the detail pieces for a Dragon kit. But the pieces that are there are very well-molded and very crisp and clean. When the dealer told me I can get one for $50, which is a whole lot better than $150+ for some other kits of this model, I went ahead and ordered one. Seems that Dragon is just making so many kits of their new models and when they are gone, they are gone. I've been trying to get a Dragon Ferdinand since the first of the year and my dealer says there just aren't any out there to be had, so he says.
Wouldn't buy one unless you can get a pretty good price on it though.
Did these guns really have so much detail on them to begin with? As compared to, say, a tank? Just curious here.
I intend to set mine back in the closet (only about 6 models behind anyway!) and watch to see if there are any 'extras' detailing-wise for this particular kit that may come out down the road in the future. Mainly the tracks. Love to see some white metal links for this kit.
Take care, sgirty :-)

Very, VERY, nice!!! You show that it's not so much the kit as it is the modeler and what they can do with the kit, is what counts in the end.
Really like that faded grayish color.
Take care, sgirty
