i must say that it looks really good Hunter, especially with the rust where shells have scraped away the paint, and the weathering on the rear steel plates. however, i have never seen tracks that colour. are you sure that they are meant to be beige?

Alot of work done to change the base kit . I think the tracks are coverd in dry mud, we have the same colour mud in Wales. Nice referance for my KV2. Cheers, love the heat damage to the paint on engine covers.

The same as eBay "Pro-Built", because he put the label on it. Many of us here add PE, resin and scratch-built parts, and do good finishes. This just means he is an advanced modeler, nothing more. I hate the bogus "Pro-Built" moniker people add to make them feel better or look special. Its just a well done model, just like many others here. I too think the tracks look off in that color though.

My personal interpretation of "Pro Built" is simply defined as "if you are earning enough building models to support yourself and or your family in a comfortable life style without any other income---- you just might be a "Professional Modeler". Everything else is ego inflating BS. Since I know many "professional" people who do slip shod work, the "professional moniker" doesn't impress me in my old age as it did in my youth. I work in a "professional trade", and you would be amazed at the number of Unprofessional professional I follow around correcting their mistakes and saftey violations on the job!

Nice looking model though.

I know the "pro-built" tag was going to get commented on.

Yes nice, and there a lot of other details that look good like the etched grill covers and the fenders appear to be etch as well. Very nice choice of green used also.
Usually when I look at a model I search for the positives ... and only comment on the negatives, if they stand out! When I see "pro-built", I do the exact opposite ... search for negatives, and comment on the good things. The mud on the tracks and wheels looked slapped on. The wheels especially look odd, as some are very dirty around their diameter and others are clean. The "one tone" dirt could really do with some more depth .. even when dried. Even haven come to a stand-still, there would be some metal showing through the dirt, IMO. The one thing that looks very poor and definately not pro anything, is the rolled tarp and its ties on the fender, being the exact same green as the tank itself. As mentioned the engine covers have some heat effect shown, but the exhausts are in new condition.

this kit is not that attractive for me. It has lots of expensive work done to it, in terms of time and accesories, but still looks like a toy tank

Goodness me (being polite).

"Pro-built" is a sham, pure hype. A few aftermarket parts added --- stokes the price, stokes the ego. Give it up!

Still flash on the exhausts? Give it up!

"Pro-build"? Gonna get slammed!

This is an average model, no more, no less.

Where is the wiring conduit that feeds the headlight and horn?

Why are the rear-facing episcopes still in the wrong place?

The headlight? The bulb is not green. The inside of the headlight is not green.

Why do we still see a seam for the phony part Trumpy put around the driver's hatch?

Red Star? Exceedingly rare! Show me the photo! Prove to me that this is not fake from the ground up.

ChTZ? You mean maybe ChKZ? Get it right. And it isn't.

"Pro-built"? What regiment is this tank supposed to be from? Where? When?

"Pro-build"? Total nonsense.

Don't say "Pro-build".

Your friend has made a nice model, and I would celebrate that, congratulate him. I know you post this wanting to share his work for us to admire, as you do. But when you say "pro-built" we expect nothing less than outstanding, and this model is not outstanding. It is a nice model, but not as good as it could be.

Tell your friend, I'm the hardest person in the whole wide world to please, and I like his model. He does good work, and his next model will even better. But it is not a "pro" model.
