This is a tank i've been working on off and on for a while. I'm kind of in a rut as what to do to it next. It is the academy kit with interior, so i'm not going to glue it shut. There are gaps where these parts come together, oh well .Any advice is welcome ,Thanx T T -13 OUT.

P.S. The snow is a mix of baking soda and baby powder, the White wash is water based paint applied with a q-tip

This looked good Toad, the snow are very nice, what you made them from? Baking sodas?

the weathering is on the spot, prolly nothing much you can do here. It's good job.

Toad,
looking very good indeed! :-) You have done wonderful job with that difficult winter camo and the snowwork looks very nice.
Just a few pointers, though. I´m no expert with Tigers but should those tracks have some sag? What tracks did you use? Vinyl? Single link?
Also those threads hanging from that nice pole look a bit hairy. I´d replace those with thin wire or painted fishing line.
Could you tell more about your painting technique? There have been many winter camo tanks in Armorama lately and they all look good but very different. It would be nice to hear your tricks of the trade! Looks like thinned white wash over dunkelgelb base paint...

Good job!

Toadster---very good looking Tiger. I built this kit a bit back and it looks no where near as good as this one. Nice touch with the pole and downed wires. Snows looks great. Nice job here.

One very fine looking Tiger, indeed.

Tried to build the same kit once, it ended up in the circular file for hopeless cases. Kinda sorry today that I didn't give it a some more time.

Looking good Toad.
I agree with what Envar said.
Also, I have seen in reference pictures that in winter landscapes, the track indentations made by tanks are usually quite dark, dug up earth as opposed to simply white snow.

Lookin' good toad. I like it. I really like the power lines, they are a nice touch.

My experience with this kit is a good one. I did not glue the top on, but I did glue the glacis
plate to the hull rather than the roof. It made it look better without the gap behind the front
armor and the side.
You can still see the front quite well, but the transmission is a tight fit.

You might need to sand down the bottom of the tranny just a bit to get it in there right if you
have problems like I did.

Great job man I thought his tank was called S04. .Also the 88kill rings so I am told were only painted on for photograph as wearing them in action would make him an even bigger target than he already was.

Looking good... I really like the way you weathered the barrel. How did you do your whitewash?
