Hello Paul.
Please tell me why is this model first class, when you have many problems with build.
Also this model shortly about cca 8 mm because base is the same as first Stryker from Trumpeter.
I have this model, as well new M1134 but this also the same base. I know that trumpeter add many new nice part, OK.
But mainly flaw stay.
First class you can add only perfect model but no add model with big error.

I'm not going to awnser for Paul as I'm sure he'll do that himself. However I'm also doing this and I agree whith Pauls statement "The quality and fit of the kit is first class so far"
It's detailed and very well moulded. There are no fit issues. Yes, there are some discrepencies in the instructions and I made a mess of the PE strut guards but that reflects more on my skills than on Trumpeters kit. I for one am grateful to Trumpeter for the affordable range of modern armored vehicles they are bringing to the mass market rather than the very expensive niche market resin kits that are available.
Is it 8mm too short? I don't know and to be honest I really don't care. It's still building into a very nice model and will be easily recognizable as a M1127. I've already done the Trump 1126 and AFV 1128 & 1130 and they all look very good together. The only issue with the slight size difference is for AM parts. They have to be specific to the brand of kit.
Cheers,
Sean

I am sorry, I don't say that this model is bad, I agree that have very nice detail but hull is bad because is shortly about 5 mm and wide about 2 mm.
The same problem Is Vaijra Buffalo. Here in review have 95% but this model have many many errors. For first look is very nice.

Kind of agree with you Miloslav, often people rate a model very highly regardless of accuracy problems that to some of us actually mean rather a lot, generally I find these people who rate things so highly are the ones who don't really know a great deal on the things they review.
This is a very nice model, im currently building one, and the details are nice and it certainly does look good. However it is noticeably to small and looks too lightweight compared to the real thing, looking down on it from above it looks too thin. The wheels are too small as well and not wide enough. Other details are also soft, like the lights and various smaller details. Its a nice model for the money, which is very cheap for what you get, but it does have it problems, hell if this were a WW2 German tank with these dimensional issue everyone would be up in arms. I think a cheap and accurate way to go would be to kit bash certain parts onto the AFV club kit and do some scratchbuilding.

I have been away for a few weeks and haven't had a chance to respond to this thread.
i must state that i know very little about this vehicle. Having seen photos and pictures of the vehicle in action i was drawn to build one of the available stryker models. I purchased the trumpeter kit because it was available in my LMS. I spent £22 and i recon i got a great deal. It looks great, has plenty of detail, its going together well and i am enjoying it, as it has everything in the box to build a good model.
I see that the dimensions on the model are noted as incorrect. Are you telling me that at a sale of 1:35 its that noticeable.(175mm and 70mm) Basically I bought the kit because i thought it would make a great model straight out of the box. i stand by my claim that the model is great.Keep up the good work Trumpeter.
