Hi,
Here a update how the works is going on the WLF.
On the pictures you see some wires added a lot putty (stil need some sanding ) and a scratchbuild towinghook on the boom, btw there are two maybe more posebilities voor stowing stuf on the boom, but nothing of that in the AA kit?
For the rest still a lot to do on this kit before finnishing #:-)

Ron, this is really coming along and shows your attention to detail and perseverance with this build.
These photos are nice and sharp, (and close up),---do you use a tripod or are these hand held pics? I always struggle in this area. Thanks.
Steve

Hi Steve,
Yes I alway`s use a tripod for my Digital camera, I`m always shaking when I take pictures
The image size is alround the 1600 and ??? pixels then I reduced them to 600 by 420 pixels and compress the file to about 40Kb or less.
Thanks for the comments.

I am still picking up my jaw from the floor, you are turning a ugly frog into a princess

That looks good, very detailed. How did you make the cable end? I know the cable is some type of string. I was just wondering if you made the end piece or modified an existing part.

Ron what a good job you are making of this kit. This is a kit I would like to do, however it is too expensive for me. But I cannot believe how rough some of the castings look in your photos. The job you are doing is excellent and the photos show how much fine work you are doing to get it looking good.

HI Cliff,
First thank you for the nice comments.
Youre right about the rough castings, mostof it a have already cleaned up, but in pictures you see them again on some places but most get hidded after the spare wheels (lucky me )
And yes it is a verry expensive kit seen th equality of it but if you I`m a litle crazy with ARF and Wreckers thus I must have this one #:-)

Ronald, I too would love this kit, but it really is out of my price range, please keep the photos coming as I personally find this kind of photo-report incredibly useful on the basis of technique and detail building. Jim

Ron it is coming along great. Keep in mind that the minor flaws will actually enhance the model and make it look more realistic. The trucks in the real world were all dinged up. Keep up the great work. I think I will break my own rule and have to build this one. You have inspired me. Thanks..

Looking great Ronald! It's a very cool vehicle.
When I first saw this kit on the back of God only knows what magazine, I said to myself, " I have to get this". When I did a search for it on the web, and saw the price...I cried uncontrollably.
Please keep me...err, us updated as you progress.
