The effort you're putting into this one is paying off Guy! The dirt effects on the trailer in particular really show off the subtle variation.

Agreed. Looks like dirt built up over time which is often hard to achieve.

Bill, Pat, thank you guys to tell me you like it, I used Mig pigments to build up the dirt and dust, by starting with a dark toned firust layer of it. When dry, I finished with lighter tones.
I mixed this :
First layer : dark mud, Europe dust, plaster, acrylic resin and water.
Second layer : Europe dust, dry mud, plster, and water (easily to brush off where necessary, don't use resin for this effect !).
Anyway, it's FINISHED !
Now I have three of these little trailers, each with it's own purpose : searchlight, AA gun, ammo trailer.
Guy.

Fantastic job, your paint work and weathering, result in a very realistic model.
Great work, I like it a lot

fantastic guy shame about the camo though never mind you've certainly made up for it with
some fantastic weathering especially on the trailer around the axel and wheel arches
one thing around the breech should be chipped a little more from extreme wear and tear form the rounds been pushed into the chamber
its a great little trailer and i especially like the other two as well

Pedro : thank you, I did my very first weathering job ever on this German grey base paint (I am an Allied vehicle builder to be honest) , so it wasn't easy to achieve this result without experience. But I found out that lighter tones of dust on darker ones, give good results.
James : thank you for your kind words, the camo trailer, I know, people loved it, or they hated it. May be now I'm ready to add enough realism in this sort of camo paint schemes.
It didn't feel right so I removed the whole base paint layer with oven cleaner and started all over again. I'm glad you like this too my friend.
Thanks for your advice too !
Jim : the searchlight was a fantastic kit to build, very small pieces to glue on but so fun to paint and with good results without tons of PE. Thank you !
Darryl : I feel most flattered by your reply my friend. This kit is great to build and when you start your own kit, feel free to ask via private message if there's a problem ! Thank you !
Bill : thank you for your kind replies in this rather quite topic. These kind of trailers have caught my attention, they're fun to build, not that big or hard to do, and with a bit of patience good results can be achieved.

Guy, just caught up with this.....stunning, the attention to weathering details surely bruises my ego
Excellent trio of trailers, looking forward to more in the 'set'.
