Amazing build Gino.
Tremendous effort, skills and patience too, but you did it, the best Merkava kit so far..
Was there, during the building process, sometimes when you came to a dead end and not knowing how to solve some specific problems ?
If you did have a chance to build it again what would you change ?

Thanks !

Thank you, John. I don't know if it's the best Merkava (I still remember that one by Adam O'Brian), but it's important to me many of you like it.
No, no dead steps with it even if I decided to make it more tricky and yes.....of course I know by now what I will do better with my next Merkava: the anti-slip layer. Same technique, but different "powder": I've a newer and thinner one.
Thanks again.

This Merkava is simply incredible. The work that's gone into it and the skill required is mind-blowing. Thanks for sharing, and posting all the steps... very inspiring. I'll never be as good as this, but it is certainly something to aim for.

Really great job, can't wait to see what you do next.

Really Great Guido
You should submit your build as a feature article.
I really enjoyed your build and I am waiting for the crew to sit in.
Cheers

Guido you really did a fantastic job with a great looking tank. I think the Merk is the finest looking MBT out there and you did it some serious justice. Cheers.

Chris and Sebastien, thank you. Yes you're right, I had to add those figures: I have a few time in these days. ASAP.
Thank you once again.

Thank you once again fellows. I think I'll be able to complete my figures within April.
Olivier, I saved all the Baz pics in my pc, so if one day you will need them......
I've just realized my Merkava III has been visited more than 6600 times so thanks all of you one more time.

Hi Guido,
I've been a quiet observer all this while, and i must say that your merkava is absolutely fantastic. I'm a merkava fan myself and am currently working on the merk 3D full resin kit now.

I have an observation though; on your mk 3 baz, i noticed that the driver & commander's periscopes are missing. Any reason for this?

Thanks!
Brandon

Thank you Brandon.
Those periscopes are simply closed. They come this way in the Legend kit. And I think in the 3D too.
Thanks once again.

And finally, mates, these are my Baz figures: a long gestation :-))

I have to thank a dear friend of mine, Carmelo Giannì, who made a beautiful work on their bodies while the heads come from my poor manual capacities.
Cheers.

Thank you Sebastien, I'm happy you like it.
Ah, ah, ah...what about that jet pilot helmet? It comes from the Verlinden range (an old item) and I decided to use it when I saw some pics of an IDF tanker who dressed that on the Michael Mass' book from Desert Eagle about the Merkava III. Do you like it

great job on the model and figures.
i'm guessing that the aircraft helmet was used just for the photo or on a whim of the tanker, as is practice, he'll have a hard time in the tank with it
