It is such a joy to see a master craftsman work. While most of us will never ever achieve anything remotely like that, it does inspire us to reach out and push a little harder. Years ago when I purchased Tony Greenlands book it was a big push, now this guy has pushed me again.

It is a master work, i love it but it is also a dipressing piece of art, for beginners modelers this is not as inspiring as you said because
1. there is a lot to learn
2. a very lot to learn
3. it is a hobby ( somtimes quite expensieve one )
4. Patience is an Art and there is a lot to learn
I am impressed lost my jaw but also this is getting crazy how can you say reach out and push a little harder if i want to be as good as he is i have to stop working and get busy every day with this, and may be at my 80 st birthday i might say " darling i got it #:-) #:-) " and then realising my familly left me and i am there with my tank #:-) and then compair the pictures and realising i am still not yet there
May be i should keep on thinking modeling is a hobby and they are a lot of people i might look for too but i might never be as good as they are but at least i have fun in my hobby
i will always look at great dio and model with wide open eyes and broken jaw and a weel chair to stoping me falling on my ass but i will still love modeling and this is my mentality about it
I love it but i might never be as good as others but what i build, i build with all i have
