Scoccia asked for a link to a certain, and by now notorious Tiger I being built by an Englishman... well, as if asked for it, he has posted a few new pics... So, brake open the bottle of anti-depressives, and if you feel strong enough, have a look: Your next depression.

Cheers,

Harm

Great looking kit.. I have this sitting in the closet wating for a OOB build....

kinda feel sorry for the guy.... by the time he pays for all that aftermarket stuff he won't be able to afford to buy anything else for a year or 2.. not the mention the cost in time. and I wonder if working with all those extreamly fidly bits have raised his blood pressure..........

If not for these thoughts I'd prob get extreamly depressed and quit model building forever after seeing this kit......

How can you say it's great?? The tow cables are twisted in the wrong direction!! Tsk,tsk. . . such an elementary flaw which totally ruins an otherwise fine presentation. ;-) (How come there's no "Wink" Smiley available?) Gad Zooks! How can he even bear to close the hull??!! Rob

An excellent model with the most impressive detail I personally have ever seen. Your skill is only outweighed by your patience. I salute you.

I will hopefull be getting an hour or so to publish an article written by no other than Lee Lloyd himself on the Hold-n-Fold P/E tool vs. the Etchmate P/E tool. I think one can safely say that after this project Lee is an expert P/E guy.

Eeeh, tanks, I hope you do not assume I am the one building this tank... No way my skills are that good, and I doubt they ever will... It is a model being built by Lee Lloyd, an Englishman.

I enjoy watching these pics though.

Hi. Impressive I must certainly say!!!!!!!!!!! My hats are off to him, completely.

But cheer up guys. I see many small things on these photos of this vehicle that I would like to try myself, someday. Not all of it, by any stretch of the imagination, even if I would live to be 100, and even if I could affort to do so. But there are the 'little things' here and there that we can all do to our vehicles as time goes along, and as we all get better and better.

(And that's not to say that we don't all get inspiration from all the many photos from all the modelers on this and the many other model sites out there that spures us all along.)

Who would have ever dreamed in their wildest imaginations how this hobby has grown in the past 15 to 20+ years! Remember those kits of the '60s and '70s?

And we do need folks like this modeler to 'show us the way', so to speak, on what can be done.

I wouldn't be surprised if maybe in another 10 to 15 years this quality of workmanship may be more normal than exceptional., considering the ever-expanding manufaturer's quality in their kits and after market items coming out all the time.

It just goes to show that there is absolutely no limit to this hobby what-so-ever! No matter how old you happen to get.

Take care and happy modeling. sgirty
