Thx Tim and Alan for your kind word, i really appreciate them
Some little update :
Coat of Future, then decals then another coat
The decals instruction are like the rest of the instruction booklet, it refer to part 23, but there is two different looking part 23, or it refer to an IDF decal for the 12th Manitoba Dragoons.
So with some pictures, i think that the part 23 was in fact the 13 and i did that :
Sorry for bad quality, i will take some better later
Now this baby is going to sleep for 48H

Some text update this time
I put severals thin black/brown wash on the model and then try the dot method (I try on my previous model but did not achieve the right effect), this time it worked well but i was using 2 brown color variations (Raw umber and dark sienna) and white, so only the white show well, and i finished with a brown model (I have bad lightning too in my desk).
So i wipe everything with spirit and did not choose to redo it to not mess the paint of the model.
Next time i will use white ochre, blue, green and maybe one brown variation, on a positive note i understand how it work and what colour to choose now, watching build log of german armor and applying it on olive drab armor was not a great idea
So with a clean model i redo a wash and some pin wash.
Next step, another thin wash to blend everything.
I'll take some pic when the model will be dry

Hey Cyrille
Looking really good after some paint and decals I must say, very nice indeed.
One thing though and this isn't you, it's the kit decals...the Maple Leaf in the 2nd Canadian Army Corps badge is a modern style design, not the WWII type. On mine I went to the Bison Decal sheet and even it had the modern style design. I ended up hand painting the WWII style Maple Leaf and it worked out alright.
The design should look like this:
Your Staghound looks really great, keep it up!!
cheers;
Bob
