Trying to find out if anybody makes the IDF merkava MK3 or MK4 tank. Have found the older MK1 from from tamiya, but it is the old version when they had motorized holes in the bottom of the hull. Tyring to put together the newest and latest tank fleet that i can. Have USA, British and looking for others. Any other suggestons would be appreciated. Thanks ,Andy

Academy do a Mk.3 but it is not very accurate by all accounts, they are due to release a Mk.4 in plastic at some point in the future. There Mk.2 are very good and can be updated using Legends Resin update sets.
Legend also do a Mk.4 in resin if you wish to part with the money
there are a couple being built in the forums
Mk.3 being built
Academy Mk.4 news
legend Mk.4
If you click on the IDF link at the top of the armour forum this will filter out all non IDF forum posts making it a litter easier to search through.

Thanks for the reply. Probally wait to see what the Academy kit reviews are like. In the mean time will save up to get the Legend . Resin is not my favorite medium to work with, but it seems like a great kit. Any other Major countryies tanks recomendations are welcome also Thanks again

So you allready have British and US tanks?
Then you have:
Tamiya Type 90
Tamiya Leclerc (also made by Heller)
Tamiya Leopard 2A5 or 2A6 (also made by Hobby Boss)
Trumpeter C1 Ariete
Are you only looking for modern? Are you also looking for other AFV's except of tanks?

Legend do a lot of MK3 variants either as conversion for the Academy donor kit or as full kit, the last one being a Mk3 D with the LIC features.

Thanks for the reply guys. Found the Legend kit at Lucky Model for a decent price plus free shipping. Hope it is still there after new years.
