And it was great! What a collection. It's amazing when you see the variations that the IDF used at one point or another. Really needed more time than I had there.

Was finally able to see how those fuel lines on the T55 are routed! Worth the trip here for that alone!

Also spent some time watching the F15's and F16's landing near an airbase. You are never far from military presence here.

Hey, what's with all the half-tracks I see being transported down towards the south? Are those things still in use?

This is an amazing and beautiful country. The Golan was especially neat.

Good to know things are going well. I'm curious, if you've had a chance to see any of the current IDF equipment what color would you say it is? ( I ask this realizing you might not answer for a while)

Maybe the Halftracks are being finaly phased out from storage and going to the training grounds in the south to become targets

there used to be a number of halftrack storage boneyards. Some were melted down for metal otheres were used for sales to foreign governments. some south american and African countries still use IDF modified halftracks.
