Sorry Seb, I am working on getting these out. I hope to see something soon. Also, I am including a rough drawing of the "set" I am considering putting out. There are ratchet buckles, spring type clips, the pinch style buckle and hooks for the ends of your strap.
Here is a preview:
Also, thanks Epi for putting a few pics of my build out, I haven't had a chance to take any photos of it yet.

Ok, I have already found a problem, but I think I fixed it. The spring clips and pinch buckles were a little on the small side. I have made them bigger and now they are better in scale and should be easier to handle.

Like Pete, I can't say enough about your work. The improved set will really be useful. Would it be possible to add a hook of the style pictured below? They are damned hard to make with a Dremel and an old piece of PE fret.

Will some manufacturer please pick up this product, produce them and get them to market in the next week or 2? I really need 4 of those ratchets!!! That's not too much to ask, is it?
Yes, I know it is. But figured another vote of support might not hurt if they happened across this thread.

The amount of uses for these is limitless for the builders of modern armour. A product that has been long in coming.

With all the straps on my LAV III these would realy come in handy. Of course updatening all my other stuff would be entertaining also. The leaps and bounds this hobby has taken over the years is astounding. Hats off to all the entrepreneurs out there!

So !!! where do we stand on this project ??? and when can we expect finding this online or in our LHS ?
Been looking for something like this for years... The Hooks you made are great for the New Loop man on some modern AFV but the safety Hook has been around in the Airforce for some time and the Army made use of it almost everywhere they could... I saw them coming in Red,Green, and white !
Nice to see someone taking time to make them available to the masses...
Take care and let us know where and when we will be able to Snatch a few sets
it's a touch of Class we were all missing and Thanks to you !!!
we might raise the Bar !!!!

I finally had a chance to use the ratchets on my Coyote on the front spare tire rack:
Would have been tough to scratchbuild.
