Cory
I have been trying to find a small PE sheet of nothing but buckles and all I can find are WW2 ones.
You mentioned you were looking for other PE projects how about a small sheet of modern buckets?
For instance how about some like these.

Cory, I"d be in for a few sets, both the ratchet straps, and the buckles, as Bill suggested, if you choose to do the buckles.

I like the clip buckles idea. I am on it.

Also, just an update, I have a producer, I think. I am now trying to come up with the money to start the process.

I will try and work on the buckles this week. I got laid off from my job, so I should have plenty time to work on these.

Sad to hear of you being laid off. Perhaps your prospective clients would pre-order with a small down payment that may get you going with production?
I'm glad you like the buckle Idea, there are so many types from those snap lock types to the ones I posted that may well be doable. I'll keep my eyes open for possible content.
Look forward to your products.

Bill

Hey there Cory,

I am not sure how you are going to work the selling of these items, however I would be very interested in adding the ratchet straps and the buckles if you do them to my shop.

If you want to talk more on it, shoot me a PM, or an e-mail:

elmcityh "at" nbnet.nb.ca (Replace "at" with @)

Wild Bill Ritchie (Boggie) can vouch for me!!

Thanks

That I can Cory. I buy everything I use from Scott. Might be a good way to wholesale to various retailers and get them a wider distribution.

Cory,
I am working on getting you a 1:1 example. I am almost positive that I can get one and will know something later this week on availability. We can work out the time to hand it over, later this week.

it might be a nice idea to include the end hooks that hook into loops or around trailer beds as well

GreyHunter,
Way ahead of you. I have the hooks already in the set. I just didn't etch them myself. Right now I have a fret of 20 buckles with 40 hooks. That is the set I am working on getting massed produced. I am now starting to work on some other fasteners, snap buckles, possibly some chain come alongs. There are a lot of possibilities out there.

Cory, Nice item there. I think I could rachet down a real load with them. You might try to build chain binders for chain held loads. It took me about a half day to find and assemble just one for my rail road flat bed and have about seven more to go. A set like that may also be a good seller with all the trucks and trailers now available. Real nice job on the rachets though.

Hey everyone, since the issue has come up again, I will give an update. Unfortunately it isn't much different than before. I still need to find a company to mass produce these for me. I still have every intent of getting them out, just need to find a producer I can work with.

I'll buy some sets two. The ratchets are awesome! Keep us informed.

Best wishes

Brilliant! My unit uses rachet straps for all kinds of stuff! I've got an Abrams in the works these would go great with!

After braving blizzards in Colorado, New Mexico, and yes, even the Lone Star State, I finally arrived home to find a set Cory had sent me. I'll be posting up a little photo review later of the finished product.
The short answer is: These things work just as well as advertised. Hopefully Cory can get someone onboard with this. Miloslav? Derek?

Welcome back Robert, what were the temperatures like..;o)
Cory had sent me a set a while back and they were superb, a real niche item that every modern loader uses. There was no point to get everyone's hopes up then because they were pre production but now here they are again, in demand. Certainly somebody will take on Cory's project and mass produce them? Like Robert said they work like the real deal.
Good Luck Cory I hope this works out for you.
Regards
Bill

When you're doing a fifteen mile uphill roadmarch, at an altitude 5000 feet higher than you are used to, the temperature seems such a trifling thing...
The shocker is the foot of snow in DALLAS and surrounding areas. We didn't get that much at Ft. Carson last week, although we got enough to strand me there.

This past weekend at Fiesta Con San Antonio, i had the privalage of meeting Cory. He was selling in the vendors area and I managed to snag a M1128 from him.

Well, here is why i'm really posting. While walking through the model display area, I cam across this M1117. On top was a camo bag straped down with these very nice ratchet starps. I rememberd reading that Cory gave a set of these starps to Robert Skipper for a once look over, so I assumed that the M1117 was his. well I was wrong, Cory drove down from Oklahoma and graced San Antonio with his presence.

Let me tell you, these ratchet straps are SWWWWEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTTTTT!!!!! They are going to make every modern armor builder very happy.

Here are two shots of his Guardian.
