Geez!! I can't be away from this site more than three days at a time!!! I like Chief was stupified by the lonely wrench...my wife finally whopped me over the head with a frying pan to get me to calm down
Glad it gets back up though...don't think my head could take another whack!
Brian....LOL!! I needed that. Imagining you actually being wopped by the frying pan.
I will definately work hard NOT to let this happen again. 24hrs is a long time in cyber space.

Ack!! What a nightmare. I actually was forced to visit other sites!
Wasn't that bad really, I discovered the joy of AchtungPanzer.com. Now I'm seriously contemplating a captured and converted T-34(r) FlakPanzer.

Heck, I still have an Atari 2600 that my brother and I played while I was still at home. I graduated in 1982, and we had it for at least a couple of years prior to my leaving for college.
Yes, it still works. My kids think it's a hoot.

I'm sure that somewhere in my parents house is our old Colecovision from way back in what, 1983?. We didn't have many games, and played "Smurfs Adventures" for hours and hours on end.
Wait, did I really post that!? I mean we played Zaxxon for hours on end. Yeah, yeah, that's it, Zaxxon! Forget that Smurfs nonsense, I don't know what I was thinking. . . :-)

Jim, somehow it seems this outage wasn't such a bad thing for us Armorama addicts.. I had a small crisis but I got trough.. Now I'm stronger and I think I could endure a whole day withouth this site...
I was able to spend some time modelling and visit some other web-sites I neglected over the last couple of weeks.

Hey Jim....apparently, as you can see by the posts above, you've got quite a loyal and fervent following. Maybe we should start calling you the Pied Piper instead
I don't doubt for a second that ALL of the rest of the 'crew' join me in saying a hearty, and boisterous
THANK YOU!! for all the hard work, and stress you endured for us all yesterday!
Tread.
BTW....my instructions still stand from my Email to you.......do us all a favor and place white surgical tape over your 'delete' key, then write 'you know what' on it. Or just 'Verboten' will do. :-)

I am really happy that we are back and still kicking butt in the modeling world. :-)

Hey, one of my favorite books from my childhood what 'What The Smurfs Do All Day'. Man was that a fun book! Those little Smurfs did everything! If anyone ever made a Smurfs model figure (no way on earth) they'd be a real breeze to paint.
Uh, wait! I was talking about Stormtroopers, right?

click..Wrench, Click...Wrench Click.. *. Jack stared helplessly at the lifeless screen before his eyes, feeling totally disconected with the universe in general, and mankind in particular. A thousand thoughts raced through his mind as his hand slowly settled upon the handle of the .38 caloiber S&W he had been saving for some special occasion. The cold, silver blue of the weapon glittered in a stray beam of moonlight. As his grip tightened and the barrel clunked dully on the counter top of his PC Captain Jack wondered to himself ..."how did I arrive at such an impasse?" Happy thoughts of past postings flashed before his eyes like shooting stars on a dark night in a wheat field in Kansas. "Surely it can't boil down to something as simple and mindless as this", he thought. However with the weapon firmly clenched in one hand and the mouse clicking like some spiteful electric short circuit in the other, ot appeared that, indeed, the logic of the universe could be boiled down to a single question. "What will I do without Armorama Com?" How shall I know that I actually exist? Jack looked forlornely at the empty glass on the edge of the counter top, where he had been stilling his pain with massive doses of stright whiskey. As he glanced at the drawn, haggard, and unshaven face relflected in the blank screen of his PC a distant voice said to him, "perhaps it's not as bad as all that Jack Ol' mate. Just hang in there another few minutes, an hour a day". But Jack wasn't in the mood for petty rhetoric.....
Yeah O.K. So Jack is Back!! Watch out!

For the record, a compliment.
And don't worry, you are a character, but 'characters' are usually pretty interesting fellows
