really very appreciated comments as always Charles, I am very happy you think this about my dioramas
hey thanks Claude, it's indeed the proof I *really* don't believe that my promise land is paved with golden medals. It's nice but honestly.. What i care more about is to have permanently a dozen of good dioramas to show at any given time, and that's quite hard to achieve believe me
Thanks a lot Al ! I still ain't finished with the water effects, still a lot more space to cover so that i finally get totally happy!

Firstly to apologize for not having replied earlier.
Once forgiven, I can only say that I am at a perfect job.
Like all your work is not only technically achieve absolute perfection, but also to create an atmosphere and a totally artistic
your work goes well beyond simply building a model and its landscape
receives my sincere congratulations and my full admiration

Hey JBA, what would the world look like if we all did the same thing. You have a unique way of portraying your thoughts in dioramas and from that we all can learn something. Sure you didn't fit in in the standard figure contest but your uniqueness certainly got you noticed so maybe we can see a lot more JBA style dioramas in the future.

As you said, he's got is own and unique way of working, so I think there is no JBA style. We can only try to let our imagination and dream take power in our creative minds.
Great SBS article my friend!

Jean Salvador Bernard Andre Dali .................
Keeping with your eerie, sometimes ghostly, sometimes enigmatic, ................. yet always beautiful work, I'd say you do have your own " style ".
Like walking into an art gallery .......... esping a certain piece of work and instantly saying ............... ahhh that's a JBA !!!
Beautiful work as always Jean .......... is the garden shed warming up enough for your next project ?
Speaking of next project - anything in your melon that screams to be rendered in 3d ?

thanks Batjur - you know I'm not really sure i do want to see JBA style dioramas here and there, it's more that I would really contribute to unstuck the diorama from its darker places. thanks God I'm not the only one who does that
Alexandre, you know I have to keep my baby on evening, but otherwise i'd gladly offer you a beer.
Glenn, it's been a again a long time -the garden shed is all ready for Galilée II which is a revamped Galilée.
Something that screams a 3D rendering? When i was living in a flat in Lyon's most crowded place, I was thinking that never again I could do dioramas the way I did and that I should better do 3D dioramas.
But then I moved
The same day I got the Jaws diorama idea, I got another one which I might use one of these days: see the pic below, it's the front of French battleship Hoche or maybe Masséna, i was dreaming of seeing my son doing some swing between the 2 chained frames. That would be a nice airy diorama, between air and water, totally me.
If you want to render the scene in 3d, be my guest
thanks friends
