My grandson, Justin Edwards age 7, has completed his first Gundam model under my supervision. He assembled the kit himself by referencing the instructions, finding the correct part by number and push fitting them together. He learned to cut the parts from the sprue using sprue nippers. I used an x-acto knife to cut the remaining nubs off. Justin is proud of his completed model and is excited about doing another. Here are two photos of his completed model. (What can I say....a proud grandfather).

Tell your grandson did a beautiful job!

A little bit more of a touchup and your grandson will be a proffessional modeler. Good job!

Justin was very impressed that other modelers would take the time to look at his model and to say such nice things about his work. Thanks for the encouragement, his mom tells me that he is working on a leggo aircraft now. I think we may have a convert soon.
