Does anyone know if the Hobby Boss Merkava IV is going to be the LIC model...? It would be nice if it was as it would give modelers a choice.

Ahhh, good point, Zang...you are right, Hobby Boss does release variants. Academy does this as well --- maybe not to the same extent --- so who knows what we'll be seeing regarding the Merkava IV... Now the next thing is to get Hobby Boss to start working backwards on the various Mark III and Mark II Merkava variants --- no doubt, this would also make some of the resin producers of conversions and full resin kits unhappy.

I think it is good that both Academy and HB will be realeasing Merkava IV. My opinion is that anybody who was willing to pay so much for the resin kit has already done it, including me. Releasing other Merkava variants will take them years, so the resin companies will not be affected for some time.

How about older leo2's like A!1 A2 A3 and norwegian and finish 2A4's?
