They did at one time.
I think I might be able to find one.
Don't hold me to that, it's a crap shoot right now.

POST UPDATE: NEW PROGRESS PIX'S

Missing is the canvas top, going to try and scratch build that, the kit top doesn't do it.
Moved the Fire bottle and added some new racks.
Scratch build jerry can rack out of lead foil.
Tarpped wind sheild is paper towel and white glue.
Rack on inside was stolen for a Bradley kit. (Shhhhh.)
Anyways, comments welcome.

Hi Brian,
I think your model looks great so far.
I have a question: Earlier, you mention that the back seat is up to far making the rear area too big. Do you mean the seat sits too high, too far forward, too far back, or something else? I cannot see the problem.
It must be some kind of modeling axiom that a modeler will discover at least one mistake per build, but only after it becomes extremely difficult or impossible to correct. It makes me crazy.

Oh wow! When I saw your pictures I immediately hunted up a walkaround and sure enough, that seat should sit much further back in the truck. I wonder if there is a variant with the rear seat pushed forward and a bigger storage area behind it. Maybe the model was based on a vehicle with a rare field modification. It looks correct the way you have it. Very strange.
Thank you for taking the time to explain the issue.

Doug,
No problem.
I think the Italeri kit box was labeled wrong. Their were different version.
The command car version was crammed with raidos and other gear. This kit may be that version.
I did look at the Verlinden detail kit and they have the same rear deck area on theirs as on this kit.
There was also a Weapons Carrier (truck) version, the rear seating area was remove and replaced with a boxy cargo area with tailgate. The WC verison in some frontline areas was fitted with a 37mm AT gun in the bed. Mainly ETO, but I've seen pix's for them in the PTO as well.
Anyways, Glad I could shed some light on this for you.
Believe me it made me look.

Hi Brian,
The construction and paint job look great. You've definitely spurred my interest to buy and build one when I get through my backlog of unfinished projects.
