The last photo is some temp. stuff I've put on, I might remove them.
I've seen photo's of Staff Cars with the .30 cal on it, but it's normally placed on the right front passenger side.
Anyways, Comments are welcome. Thx.

Hi Brian,
Coming along well. there is quite a seem visable on the tyres. Did that appear one the actual vehicle or do you need a bit more sanding.
Look forward to seeing more.

I know a lot of people look upon old Tamiya kits with fondness, but my heart goes out to old Italeri kits. They sometimes have really bad sink marks or ejector pin holes, but I usually found the subjects more interesting and realistic.
Brian, it looks great so far. Do you paint the wheels on the model or separately?
On the left rear quarter panel, just below the turn light, there's a small round thing (gas cap?). It looks like it has a sink mark in it.
I like it with the luggage rack.
Makes me want to work on my M47, but alas, that must wait.

Morning All,
Thx for the comments guys.
Alan,
Yes the wheels need a little more work done to them. I've done the lions share with the X-acto, now the sander.
Ant,
I've got an Italeri Dodge WC and wishing they'd do the same that one. I might get frisky and try to rebuild, its in pretty bad shape.
Bodeen,
Thx for the link for Ant.
Doug,
Thx, yes that is a fuel cap on the left rear, a little putty on that and it will dissapear. The rack is from a Tayima M4A3 kit that I had laying around. The .30 cal mount is from a Tamiya M3 Stuart and the .30 cal is from the M5A1 kit. Tools are going to be Verlinden spares from the M8 Greyhound build, and the Fire Ext. is from the M8 kit also.
Almost forgot, I paint the wheels by hand, rims first, than tires. I feel I've got more control over the appearance overall.
Thx again for the comments.

Brian,
I think the kit looks great. If I'm not mistaken those molds that Italeri uses were once Peerless/Max molds and are probably around 35 years old. You can still find them on ebay once in a while. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to more.

Hi Guys,
I'm not trying to push eBay but here is a great deal on this vehicle:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Italeri-1-35-WWII-Dodge-Staff-Car-NIB_W0QQitemZ390020396754QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item390020396754&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A4%7C65%3A1%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318
I hope this helps someone else who was inspired to build this kit.

No problem my friend. I only have a couple of hours a week to model so I don't show my work here....quite frankly it's not worth showing....but I do try and contribute where and when I can.
I really enjoy being a part of this woldwide community.
Brian....Keep up the good work!

Tim,
Thx for the comments. I hope to get some paint on it soon. I 've got to look into a compresser first. I'm still toying around with add-ons.

RUN OUT OF GLUE! No worries. Picked some up yesterday. Worked on it alittle bit last night, Just refitted the rear rack (centered it.) and .30 cal mount (move it back towards the rear seat.) The .30 cal MG barrel broke , repaired that. Mainly the time consumming stuff. Hope to have some updated photos soon.

Hey Gang, Sorry for the delays. Here's some progress photo's.
At the house for the weekend so I should be able to finish pulling it all together.
Painting, well that's a different issue.
The rack on the floor is temp., not sure if I like it there. Comment welcome on this.
Added the tool rack. Removed the Cleaning rod from M4A3 rack.
Mainly was cleaning up some of the "Builder" mess.
Enjoy!!!!!!! As always comments welcome.

Ok, Alan and James.
Got a question. The rack on the floor in back. Keep or remove? I'm not sure I like the placement. Thx.

AAAAAHHHH!!!
Just went over some photo's on the web for this build and discovered much to my horror that I've made a grave error.
WARNING: THE REAR SEAT IS UP TOO FAR FROM THE REAL THING. Thus, Making the whole rear area larger than it needs to be, frame and all.
I'm not going to change anything on it. Too late for that.
