Excellet work so far, tomapaul!!!

Question, where did you get the hardware for the sling? Was it aftermarket or home made?

Thanks!

Rob

Thanks!
Everything is home made.I used masking tape (3 layers packed to reach the thickes for 1:16) and wire.It is easy to make.I just used a tweezer for bending and the link above for reference.
Sadly there aren't many 1:16 accesories.

Really impressive work, especially the added white coat. I'm just wondering, how do you manage to airbrush small areas such as the face?

I masked the face using patafix(blue tack) and airbrushed the base flesh color, the rest is painted using a brush.I have a modest airbrush, Sparmax DH-103 , but it's quite good.

Good ideea... Maybe I can build a vignette display name.Something like:

East Front Russia 1942
Sergent(or whatever rank)... Mr. X Machine Gunner

What, you mean they didn't fire the MG42 from the hip like in video games?

The recoil on them is ferocious. No Rambo-ing would be happening so he'd need something for close quarter defence.

I beg to differ, it was possible to shoot it non-supported, from the 'hip' if you had a good stance.
