Hi, I'm planning on making a diorama with some German infantry and a Sturmtiger and was wondering if anyone can fill me in on what infantry participated in battle with this vehicle? I've spotted a few kits by Tamiya and others, of which include 'German Eastern Front', i guess this would apply to their employment in the Warsaw uprising...and I know they have are 'heavy infantry support' vehicles but I'm unsure if these infantry kits apply to these designations in general... I'm confused. Perhaps there is a late 1944 german heavy infantry kit I can find... Well thanks.

Byron,
There's a video on YouTube of this monster firing it's main gun, you might want to look at it before placing Inf. around this thing.

Hi, for a diorama in Warsaw, summer 1944, i would use the Dragon kit 6156 (panzer riders)
or the 6171 (cross of iron) .
or the 6171 (cross of iron) .

Brain
Yes, its pretty awesome, I've seen it... I showed it to my dad too, he thought it was neat.

On the Western front, 1945, would I use an Academy Battle of the Bulge Infantry kit?

Hi Byron if you're doing your dio on the western front then you could use Dragon's Gen2 figures "the last battle" as these are german figures form 1945 or you could try Dragon's "Desperate Defence" figs

Hi there!
I am not an expert on the subject, but I would rather go with some tank crew.
Infantery soldiers would stay away from such monstercannon, specially when firing.
Cheers!

Hi i have just bought this tiger aswell. Germany only built 18 of these things and were mainly to be used for destroying building containing enemy. They were losing too many un amoured artillery units in that theatre.
