Hi all
I must be on some sort of a roll - My Panther II is all done. The camouflage was a bit of a gamble, but I actually think it turned out really well, although it was a h... of a masking job I wonder what Mr. Ackermans will say about it??
Please enjoy, and please do comment.
Jacob

Love the paint job, very urban looking. With the shortage of Dunkelgleb, the Olivgrun really looks the part. It was areal shame the Panther II program get cancelled, what a Beast!

I'm suprised how good the paint job looks. I mean, Olive and yellow dont really go together well, but you somehow maneged to pull it off. Good job mate.
By the way, what kind of tracks are they? I've never seen that type before.

Jacob,
Stunning job! Great job on the camo. . . weathering is just right. Best Panther II that I have seen to date. Thanks for sharing your build with all of us here in the net. Could you tell us a little about the colors you used? Nice set of pics too!

Tank you all for the nice comments.
Ant: It's basicly the old DML kit, But a lot of things has been changed. The turret is a resin turret, (manufactor unknown!) the tools are from the sparebox, the IR system is from Tamiya and the IR storragebox is home made.
Lyndon: Maybe I'll start working on my Bergepanther again, but I can't really say.
Dean: It's King Tiger transporttracks (for rail transport). They're in the kit, but can be bought seperatly also by DML. If you're interested, I have an exstra set!
Eddy: The base colours are Tamiya, tools, periscopes, etc. are done in Humbrol colours. I use oils for washes and pastell pigments for weathering.
Best regards
Jacob

Jacob,
Loce the paint scheme! I did something very similar with a Panther F recently. I'll post that in a couple of days. Gotta say, I like yours MUCH BETTER than my own though!
