Hi all,
Found this section of the forums ercently. I love paper panzers!
This is an Aufklarspanzer auf 38 t that I make sometime in 05. Base kit was the Dragon mid Hetzer, turret from an Italeri kit, many mods and scratchbuilt additions, as well as a breass barrel adn some of the Eduard etch kit.
Enjoy! Any questions please feel free to ask!

Had to start a new album on another hosting site.. still figuring it out, next time it will be better!
I'll have pics of some other paper panzers after I upload them, a BeoPanther and a Coelian at least!

nice aufklarspanzer (shouldn't it be aufklarungspanzer?) what ever it's name you've done a bang up job, the scratch mods look ace and the overall finish to the paint job is better than what i can do at the mo, i've got dragon's aufklarungspanzer 38t kit no6294 ready for priming, just hope i can pull of as good a finish, seeing as i don't own an airbrush yet. but again nice build. Thanks for the comments gents!
Ant, even without an airbrush, a hard edged scheme such as that last one isnt difficult to acheive. Mask the different colors off using Silly Putty. Base coat in one color, mask off, paint the second color, mask off for the third as well. I have headr that Valleo paints are great for hand painting, silky smooth, not like the Tamiya acrilics. Haven't used them myself, but have heard that they are the way to go!
Thanks all for taking the time to comment on a build thats a couple yeard old by now lol.

Hello, what a goodlooking panzer. I think it's looking very realistic, it could have been used in the Ardennes or in the final stageof WW2. Superb ! Grtz Ed.

Hi Wesley and Eddy!
Thanks for commenting on the Aufie. I agree Ed, it would have fit into the Ardenne very well!
Sorry I haven't been around Arrmorama much recently, started a new job and been very busy.
That said... i AM working on a new sci fi tank! Pics to follow soon.
Thanks guys!
