They look great, nice to see some detail added to the old kit. What aftermarket are you using?

I don't see the crocodile though

Hi all ,
Thanks for the positive comments.

Hi James,
Some file problem on my photobucket
The crocodile is practically identical to the mk7 anyway, except its now basecoated OG.

I'm not using an Aftermarket kit as such, the MK8 turret is built from spares and Using the Churchil Owners manual plans.
The MK8 is the close support version of the mk7, it has been made by using the spare 95mm gun parts salvaged from making a Cromwell ARV from the Tamiya Centaur CS kit.

Recycling is good!

No worries,

I figures you had plundered the centaur kit. I was thinking more along the lines of the stowage like the BESA ammo boxes. Also looks like an Eduard PE set may have been used? Also the spare track link armour, is this from resicast?

Good to see you have fixed a few of the kit problems, however, just noticed one thing you missed - the three plates on the air intake stacks are a post war mod - this area whould be smooth on wartime churchills.

I'll be looking forward to seeing these finished as i've got one on the go myself!

Hi James,
No worries, their all tamiya ones built pretty much OOB. Didn't know about the exhaust panels, will check my reference material.

No Photo etched stuff , the only metalwork are the handmade grab handles and some Spare Fruilmodel tracklinks applique armour (unsuccessful sherman ones) .

The resin boxes are spares and the Besa Ammo boxes are from Accurate Armour.

Hi Tim,
Its keeping me sane at the moment.
They're all restarts - stripped of paint, chopped bits off , added new bits, changed some parts.
I think the crocodile has been reincarnated a few times , it maybe 10 years old!

Nice job so far Matt. I'm not much into the green tanks, but yours are pretty cool, I like the crocodile.
They will definitely look awesome when painted and weathered.
